Spark by Hilton Williamsburg Historic Area

Hotel staff was very friendly. Location was perfect, close to dining and shopping. Parks only 15 minutes away

The hotel was clean. I think it’s ridiculous to charge a credit card $100. To hold overnight, usually just a credit card on file is acceptable.

Nice staff, clean room

Pleasantly surprised. Minimally decorated but functional as needed.
Coffee/ tea service should be in the rooms.

Manager was awesome.

Our recent stay at the Hilton was exceptional. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and outgoing.

I think this hotel was almost brand new. it was clean and fresh. I appreciated the condition the rooms were in.
My only thoughts--
Monitor the people you allow to just "hang out" around the property. It's unsettling and you start questioning what exactly they are doing there for the better part of the day/evening.
The elevator wasn't working in the AM--and you might consider coffee machines in the rooms.

Great place. Clean and the staff were great!

We were there for a weekend. Mr. Demaris greeted us and made us feel welcomed. He was Great. What I did not like and could not understand was on the next day Saturday. My cousin wanted to go swimming she asked for a towel and they gave her a hand towel. Later that night when we returned I requested towels and wash rags. I was told they only had 2 towels left and no wash cloths. I couldn't believe it I had to ask again. Then my Aunt called me from her room and asked me if I had service come I told her I had my do not disturb sign out. She said she took hers off but no one came and she was told they didn't have any left. The person on the late shift was helpful he found me 2 rags and gave me the towels and found rags for my Aunt as well.

Chose this hotel as it was highly recommended on the booking site. Hotel seemed like it was an old hotel that was cheaply renovated. There was a strange smell throughout, we could hear other guests from their rooms and hallway from inside our room, and while "tidy" it didn't seem clean. Will likely not stay at a Spark property again.

As far as food, the continental breakfast was OK, but no one came in to refresh my room did not come and change the towels or empty the trash. The manager on duty had to go around and search for face towels.

Completely renovated, so basicallly like a brand new hotel. Breakfast options were very basic like bagels, cereal, yogurt, and muffins. No meat or pancakes/waffles. They also had apples and oranges. The beds were average comfort for a hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tony at the front desk was great.

Nice hotel but make sure to lock your doors when you’re sleeping. One of the maids tried to open my door at 9:10am.

I had picked my room on the Hilton honors appt prior to check in, however, I wanted to check in at 2 but he could only put me in a room across from the elevator. Don’t ever stay in a room near the elevator, lol. I don’t understand how my original
room “wasn’t ready” an hour before check in but that room was. Weird. Besides the excessive noise, the hotel was nice. Beds were comfy. Pillows were not the best. Breakfast included bagels, cereal, muffins, yogurt, oranges and apples. The pool was so nice and very clean. We stayed here and went to the Great Wolf Lodge and it was very close by.

Very clean, new & comfortable hotel. The price was fantastic for a night.

Breakfast is way below acceptable for a Hilton property. All bread products.

My family and I had a great experience at this hotel. It was very clean and staff were very friendly. Our room was clean, the only thing I found was like a clump of hair by the bathroom trash but other than that everything was very clean. Location is very convenient only a few mins away from Busch Gardens and Outlet.
