The only thing positive was the location, right on the beach. Also the guy at the bar area, the singer. He was very good and entertaining.
The staff was extremely rude multiple times. Our room was not too clean. Almost looked like they just wiped everything down really quick. Pieces of roaches near sink and the bed wasn't very comfortable. Back hurtrr the whole time. And the pool water was filthy. Hardly anyone was in it and were scratching out heads trying to figure out how a family could get in that water. It was really bad. To too it all off I get billed $250 extra dollars because they said, "We saw ASHES on the balcony." My wife and I are not smokers. Neither is our daughter who was with is. When I called to dispute they were extremely rude, wouldn't let me talk to anyone else like a supervisor and actually claimed that they were in charge. They are thieves. Stay away for your own good. And your wallets too.
Location
Noisy elevator, my room was next to them
Also I don’t like having to pay for parking at a hotel that I paid for.
I enjoyed the location of the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the vicinity.
The “room with a view” was completely deteriorated and aged. Nothing like the photos I came across. This hotel needs a makeover. The price paid does not correlate to the quality of the room, the amenities, nor the cleanliness. Wish I could request a refund.
Hallways are run down and the rooms are outdated.
The beach access, the pool, hot tub, restaurant everything!

Great location. Great ocean view rooms.
If you are selling ocean view rooms at premium rates, windows should be washed every day.
This is my go to spot whenever I go to Corpus. Other than to go to the beach we never leave the hotel.
Location was the main reason why we stayed. Comfort was the reason why we rated it low. Room was humid and very uncomfortable to sleep. The AC was working but humidity level was too high, the AC would turn off and humidity level would cause room to get hot and we would wake up sweating every 45 min; seemed like.
The comfort of the room was unbearable.
The location at the beach was excellent.
The parking was tight. Above the first floor was like stepping into a totally different hotel. Second floor smelt like musky wet dog, the remodeling job done around the elevators looked like I did the cutting for them with big gaps, the wall paper was peeling off. The bathroom was the absolute worst. It didn’t have a regular door, it was a sliding barn door that didn’t close even with the wall and you could easily stick your hand in between and unhook the bathroom lock. So there really wasn’t any privacy at all. Now to the bathroom tub, the handle to turn it on was totally broken off so when you lift it up the handle falls off into your hand and then you have to play find the right side of the square jigsaw puzzle to get it back on. I ended up throwing it a few times then realized I couldn’t turn off the water. Let’s get to the roaring 737 they have as a vent fan. Loud crackling noise the whole time and you couldn’t turn it off because if you turned it off you had absolutely no light at all. I’m scared of the dark so me and a few rooms were flying for about 30 minutes. Oh and let’s not mention if you farted the whole room heard every rumble you made. There was no sound barrier from the bathroom to the room. Can’t watch tv cause the 737 you were flying in forgot to lock the doors so you heard everything. I called to get a refund to leave the hotel but had to wait 24 hours so that didn’t help at all. Oh yea and let’s not talk about the house maintenance, (yes I have done housekeeping at aloft so I know what I’m talking about about)She didn’t even knock and just barged in BEFORE 11am. Said “oh my bad, do y’all need more time?” We even got a call from the front desk at around 11:20am to remind me I had to checkout. And every 15 minutes after that it felt she was knocking at the door. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
Right on the beach, good views, large room with a deck facing the Gulf.
Breakfast not included but they do have a restaurant on site. A little pricier than others we stayed in but I'm sure that's because the beach is right there.
Closed to beach
Felt rushed..housekeeping were more friendly than front desk..
