The Arcadian

I stayed @ the Arcadian as is was convenient, but I would have stayed even if it had been a bit further away since things went very well. Having spent much of my 30 yr on the road in 100's
of various places incluiding the Ritz Carlton, Bos, St Regis NYC and the St Frances in SFO along with everywhere in between AIBB, Small motels and hotels etc. I rate the Arcadian as excellent in the areras that are important....staff, room quality and clean aspect. The reviews that seem negative seem petty or just people who have not had much experience with placrs to stay. If I want a room with a view (outside) I can get but I like the inside rooms myself. It wasn't a high end business hotel that features great free food (that is factoried into the room price) but it was adequate. But the staff (all) that I had conntact with were open, informal and helpful indeed.
OF ESPECIAL NOTE WAS FRONT DESK PERSON CASANDRA AND MIG who want out of their way to be very kind to m,y wife and myself in every way that was AAA standard that I had eceived in the RITZ or similiar high end ($$$$per night) and thhey should be recognized for their excellent service which meqans we willbe back as often as we are in Brookline (frequen) as we used to live up at the STONEHOLM which is further up Beqcon and we have many frends and medical appoints and business appointments here in town. So thanks Arcadian forbeing here for us!

Modern lobby, parking garage available (cost per night), nice continental breakfast. Nice clean room. Beds comfy. Excellent location right near Coolidge Corner and train.

It was as expected... EXCEPT

The hotel room in the tower was very comfortable, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location is most convenient, and the parking garage greatly appreciated. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you!

Clean , friendly staff , great location

I arrived at the hotel for a family health emergency and the night staff was wonderful. I needed to change my room, due to personal circumstances, and both Sam and Alberto were so accommodating in getting me another room and helping me from one room to another. I needed to extend my stay which Sam took care of immediately. They have the best continental breakfast with fresh pastries, juice, cereal and many other breakfast treats. Hot and cold water along with coffee and tea were available 24/7 as was the microwave. They have a small convenience store with frozen meals and ice cream along with soda and water. The bar is open in the evening if you would like a glass of wine or a beer. The hotel lobby was inviting and very neat and clean. Everytime I entered the hotel I was greeted with a pleasant hello and smile. I have listed the staff below that I encountered during my stay to give them a great shout out! The circumstances for my stay was a death in my family, but they did everything possible to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. I will definitely be staying there again when I return to Boston MA.
