Best location it is a central near almost everything you can drive to the new Cornish in less than 15 mins

I was travelling alone for business and the hotel is not branded Crown Plaza any longer. Event the staff shares this with you openly. First I arrived late and waited 20 minutes to get checked in. Then they let the taxi drivers to honk their horn when passing the barrier of the hotel so each night I had to cope with the “beep-beep” of taxis the rooms are old and the hotel is transitioning to another brand. Bathrooms are old style, with dangerously high bathtubs. I paid 250SAR for an outrageously expensive standard buffet dinner in the evening. Clearly a must avoid in Jeddah. (1 room, 1 person, breakfast included)

Asir and all the entire staff including F&B manager were great..

Breakfast options were great, variety for everyone’s taste

Overall good experience with friendly staffs. Rooms are clean and neat. I would suggest that the hotel can loan phone chargers to guests.

Location is down town and close to all restaurants, malls
Atmosphere is nice , very quiet and not noisy at all

No hot water for shower. Repair man cane in with dirty shoes and did not remove them. WTF! Room has limited plug sockets and desk lamp is not working in what is a poorly lit room. I won’t be staying here again.

The room was very good and comfortable.
Breakfast was fresh, well prepared, and offered a good variety. Car parking was available and easy to use, which made the stay much more comfortable.
A nice touch was the complimentary traditional Arabic coffee and dates available in the lobby. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Disappointing and Disrespectful Experience – Would Not Recommend
We missed our flight at Jeddah Airport and urgently needed a hotel where we could check in early in the morning. Around 7:30 a.m., we went to Crowne Plaza Al Hamra, Jeddah, and approached the front desk to ask if we could make a reservation in person, as we had no prior booking and did not want to wait until the standard 3:00 p.m. check-in time. My wife is pregnant, and we had already had a very long and stressful day.
Without checking availability in the system, the front desk employee immediately told us the hotel was fully booked and that maybe something might be available after 3 or 4 p.m. At that moment, we were standing in the lobby with all of our luggage, exhausted and unsure what to do next.
Instead of calling another Uber and hotel-hopping, I went on the Crowne Plaza website and successfully booked a room within minutes. After completing the reservation, I returned to the desk and informed them that I had made a booking and asked again about early check-in.
The employee seemed skeptical and chose to look through my phone rather than properly checking the hotel system. Once they confirmed the reservation, their tone and attitude changed completely. We were then asked to sit while they “worked on it,” and shortly after, they suddenly found a wheelchair-accessible room—despite previously stating there were no rooms available at all.
This experience left us feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. It felt like we were prejudged, possibly based on appearance or background, and only treated differently once we proved we had a reservation. Hospitality should be based on respect and professionalism, not assumptions.
I would not recommend this hotel. The staff need serious retraining on customer service, fairness, and treating all guests with dignity and respect.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff, I would like to thanks MR Mohammad Alamodi for his wonderful support, we had an issues , and he used his local knowledge to solve it, he stayed with us to the end , big thanks , also the room is very comfortable and very clean , reception is caring and supportive , thanks Jalal.

It was an amazing experience and we had a great time. The team is great and we created a great memory. The view of Red Sea and great facilities made it fantastic visit.

Very good hotel near King Fahd's Fountain and not far away from old Jeddah. The room was spacious and clean, bathroom was fine too. We had a partial view of the Red Sea which was nice. The breakfast buffet was top notch and most staff were very welcoming and helpful, whether at the front desk, breakfast restaurant, housekeeping and, of course, the concierge team. I would like to mention here as well Amine, the waiter at the Bridge Café, who was particularly friendly and had a great sense of hospitality.
