Nice friendly staff and lovely room.
Parking was awful. Tiny car park and our car got damaged in it due to tjny spaces. Someone just opened their door on ours.
A clean and comfortable bed
The whole of the accommodation was very tired and in need of redecorating.

Fantastic location, lovely staff, fantastic experience
Ticked the box. Good place to sleep whilst visiting family. Breakfast looked very good but we didnt have it - unfortunately :-)
Close to family
The location is central for the town. There was parking on site. The rooms are of a good size and are clean. What really let it down was the poor quality of the meal we had on the first evening and the overall appearance of the hotel. It is in dire need of refurbishment. There is peeling paint on the ceilings, rotting window sills and rusty radiators.
The fact that our meal was so disappointing and we had to search for breakfast etc elsewhere... luckily Andover has plenty of eateries. Some of the staff utilise the car park for their breaks and our rooms were right above that area so it was noisy at times ... Also staff accommodation is close to residents rooms so doors were banging late at night and early in the morning as people go off and come on shift.
Very friendly staff. Very good location
Good location for catching cruise at Southampton.
Staff were excellent and very friendly.
No real issues .
Grande chambre et baignoire
Un peu vétuste
Central location
Easy to find
No aircon, just a portable fan. Room 23 was very warm and the extractor in bathroom was permanently on.
Parking difficult.
The staff were very friendly. A great breakfast, set me up for the day. It's a bit dated, but is an old building, in the middle of Andover, and hopefully it will be there for another 200 years.
All good.
Location is great and staff are friendly.
Value of drinks and food is fair. Usually everything is a bit more organised and breakfast is good value and poached eggs worth travelling for......
Breakfast wasn't included in the selected B.Com offer.
On arrival, the room wasn't cleaned, made up or generally acceptable and really hot and oppressive (in the attic), so we were moved straight away.....
...to another room, lower down, which was still hot (no air con), and had a TV that did not work for the next four nights...
The room was constantly much too hot, when I tried to open the windows I found that they were sealed,no air circulating in the room, the last night of my stay was even worse with a temperature of 39 centigrade.
Great location in the centre of the town,
Quirky old pub/hotel. Good food and friendly staff throughout.
Rooms clean and comfy.
Pleasant stay
