The place was terrible. We had reserved a room which wasnt available when we arrived. The staff didnt seem to care. The "manager " was too busy asking the receptionist if she thought her hair looked cute on the security cameras. The public restrooms were locked and the elevator barely worked taking 5 minutes to get to the lobby. We were offered another room that we accepted but the smoke detector was gone, fridge was not cold and the television reception was non existent. When staff was told we wouldnt be staying because if the issues, they found that our originally reserved room was miraculously clean in under 20 minutes. We declined and were told there was a no refund policy. Our whole trip was ruined by this experience.
No hand soap or body wash
No floor mat for bathroom
No rooms cleaned that we booked on arrival. Gave us a suite, which was dirty and had plumbing issues. Had to move rooms and this one was also low quality of clean. Was locked out of our room by breakfast, had to get a new key. Do not suggest staying. Overall it seems that everything is poorly maintained and not staffed correctly
Could have been MUCH cleaner. The shower had black mold behind the ada bench seat. I noticed it after not feeling well post shower. The sink and tub both held water.
The entire 5 floor is abandoned. If you’re looking for 5 star clean, look away.
The staff at the front end was personable. Management was a bit colder. Couldn’t make eye contact. Not what one would expect in the service industry.
Probably one of the more affordable options in the area. So my expectations weren't very high. a clean bed with fresh bedding. A clean bathroom. That's about all i expect. And I received that.
That being said, The cleaning people screaming down the hallways all day, F this, F that, back and forth for 30 minutes, most of it about the working conditions and the other personnel, (I really feel like I know these people) is pretty gross. I swear the one girl was hammered. I don't know what she was on, but she was feeling no pain, and letting the whole floor know it. Knocked on my door to clean my room only a couple hours after I had checked in, even though the tag was hung outside the door. A very confusing moment for both of us when i opened the door and said, "I literally just checked in, rooms great" and pointed at the do not disturb tag on the door. I was pretty excited once they finally moved on. But round about 10:30 they were in the room directly above me vacuuming and moving stuff around. No biggy, work has to be done, And judging by the conversation I heard earlier, they're pretty stoked to be doing it. Although somewhat entertaining, i certainly could have done without all of, that. Maybe up your room prices a few dollars and hire a little more presentable staff. (Front desk people were great for the record)
There were stains on the bedding. Clumps of hair in the beds. One of the lamps didn't work. The room smelled bad, so bad when we came back from our outing, we thought someone, somehow came in and used our bathroom. They tried to charge my card 4 additional times after i checked it but I had it locked. My teenage daughter was catcalled in the parking lot walking to the car by a group of men having a family reunion in the ballroom. Some of the breakfast food had mold.
They charged me $100 deposit. I concede there was a sign, but it wasn't mentioned, and she only said my card was for incidentals. I know I'll get it back, but it should have been verbalized.
The TV did not work in the room. We would have liked to watch a movie to unwind, but couldn't.
You have to park on the back, where the entrance is up stairs, no ramp. Difficult to get bags up. Otherwise you have to take your things all the way around the building. Just not a great setup.
It was an ok place to stay that was convenient for what we were doing that weekend
Run down but sleepable.
Dirty rooms, peeling paint, trash in the trash cans, wallpaper taped to the wall, slow water pressure.
Although this hotel was a conference center, the restrooms in the lobby area were padlock shut so that no one could use them while we were having our complementary breakfast. The elevator froze stopped in between floors and open the door, and when I reported this to the management, they told me that they were aware of the problem, but that it was working. When I told the people that I had just been on an un working elevator that opened between floors they were not willing to put up a sign that said the elevators were out of order. She offered to reset the elevators and tell her manager I told her that wasn’t acceptable and she seemed unbothered. Our party proceeded to use the stairs to go up to the fifth floor, despite the fact that the hotel was completely empty, and we could’ve been moved to a lower floor. The outlets next to the bed did not work. The bathrooms beneath the beds had trash and had not been vacuumed. The couch cushions were covered in some sort of vinyl that was worn. The hotel is in a not so wonderful part of town which we were aware of, but its location wasn’t the worst part about our stay. I would not recommend staying in this hotel, it would be worth the drive outside of town to come to any events in or around Mansfield.
Nice and clean.
Ok location Hotel was old and only in fair condition. Breakfast was ok.
Very conveniently located property for our trip. The hotel was clean and quiet.
Rooms where very clean pool was closed for renovations
Everything locked up. Asked for a few forks but would not give us any
The hotel is old, but pretty clean. room was comfortable. parking is at the rear, and you need to carry your luggage up steps to get into the building
We thought the property was very dated, and the furnishings in our room had seen a better day.
We had a light that stayed on the whole time! No one to fix the switch so it was hard to sleep. And they should ALWAYS have coffee available in the nook. Not make it disappear at 9:05 am.
It was an awful experience. Mattress had a pad that wasn’t meant for that bed because it didn’t fit. Mattress uncomfortable. Shower curtain broken and it would not close when you shower. Bathroom floor was dirty around toilet. There was food crumbs under bed. Would never recommend. Walls in room had dirt stains on wall. Lobby looks nice but completely different when you get on one of the floors. Overpriced room.
