Overpriced for the service you don't get
Pros:

House keeping didn't do their job. Had to request the front desk to have them bring in fresh towels and remove dirty towels. When they did, everything was unfolded and laid on the sink along with toilet tissue and a tissue box. I had to fold the towels, wash clothes and hand towels and put everything in its place. House keeping comes every 2 day. I was only there for 4 nights. They cleaned the bathroom once but didn't change the sheets or make up the beds. Front desk staff charged my card without asking if I wanted to use that card for check out. No refrigerator to keep your drinks cold nor a microwave.

Pros:

Friendly staff, extremely quiet for the area when sleeping, and the location is excellent

Upon arrival, there was minor leakage from my floors ice maker which was corrected in short order

It needs refrigerators in the rooms. The signs on the floors say vending machines and ice but you can only get ice on the 10th floor

The valet service was extremely poor and very disorganized. The valet staff were rude and spoke to us in a disrespectful way, which made us feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the reception staff were also unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, the service was very disappointing and far below expectations.

Did what we wanted it to
Pros:

It was nice and warm where the rest of the hotel, corridors and lifts on all the floors were like ice boxes - it was freezing - the room was clean and well equipt

Cons:

The common parts were freezing - you came out your room and froze. On the final night there was a cockroach in the hall - on the 19th floor not sure how it got there

perfect location in the French Quarter, Beautiful Rooms, Great Staff
Pros:

I was leading a French tour group ending their tour in New Orleans. The hotel has perfect location right on beautiful Royal Street. The hotel is wonderful. The front desk is welcoming and friendly. The group sales department especially Larissa and Heather could not be more accomodating and professional. The rooms are beautiful and always kept in great condition, clean but also regularly renovated. Great value. The pool is up on the 10th floor and is interior. This is the perfect hotel to be right in the middle of the French Quarter only a block away from the French Quarter,
