Ease of access from the airport is great for late arrivals.
The location was good for accessing the airport Skytrain.
The pool was extremely cold. Advertising says that it's heated, but there is no way that is heated. The room had a sour, stale smell. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The decor and items in the room were tired looking and older. There was plastic on the carpet in the hallway as the area was under construction. Parking was expensive. Carpet in the lobby was ripped and needs replacing. For the brand of Crowne Plaza, it was very disappointing for the amount that I paid for this hotel room.

Location to the airport was perfect and transportation to airport right outside the front door ! Very convenient for travel ! Hotel clean and wonderful
Location is very good because it is across the street from the metro train. We took the train into Tempe for some shopping and also West to downtown Phoenix.
Some of the staff, especially waitress for breakfast was very rude.
There were other staff that were extremely friendly and helpful.
First of all, our room was comfortable- quiet & clean.
However, be aware that if you arrive at Terminal 3, the hotel can only pick you up at Terminal 4. I’m sure that this is the airport’s rule and not the hotel’s, but when you are trying to get to the hotel at 1am and the SkyTrain is running a modified schedule, it is a problem.
The main source of our discontent was the breakfast. I had opted for the package with included breakfast. It turns out that the ONLY menu option with this package was the “Sunrise” breakfast (2eggs, meat, potatoes). Fine if you like eggs. I do not. They would not let me order pancakes even though they were cheaper than the Sunrise.
Finally, they didn’t have ice tea and my husband’s decaf coffee was undrinkable.
Horrible experience with so called front desk reservations! Called to inform them my husband 'sflight was delayed and to not release his room. He is traveling on company business. Was told they could NOT make any notations to his reservation as it was booked through his company's travel portal, AMEX Travel. He has SIlver Elite Status and works for a global company! Will be sending a memo to fellow travelers to avoid this hotel in the future if a COURTESY notation on a PREPAID room could not be notated!
Close to airport for easy transportation. Front desk staff always friendly and helpful.
Good customer service from the front desk and airport shuttle ran on time and was prompt. Restaurant for dinner needed more servers. Service was extremely slow but food was good. Rooms were clean.
Great location for airport or light rail to downtown! Have stayed here many times always friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms.
