The price for the Annapolis area was fair
Even though it was outside of downtown, it was just a short ride into Annapolis.
Staff was nice
The room was clean and perfect for an overnight day

Cons:

Air-conditioning unit was very loud

Insulation from the traffic noise from Route 50 needs to be enhanced as we heard a lot of the traffic from the highway.

Great Staff, Poor everything else.
Pros:

The good stuff first… The staff was excellent and very welcoming. My husband and I stayed April 17-19, 2026. We were give room 470. The room was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Room temperature was controllable, which was a plus. TV featured many options on Direct TV Channels and HBOs. Now for the not-so-good stuff…our room 470 backed to the very busy (as usual) Route 50. ALL NIGHT LONG, we woke up to motor cycles, big trucks, speeding cars heading down Route 50. It was like we were camped outside beside the road. I recommend specifying you want to stay away from rooms on that side of the hotel. The hotel had 2 elevators, one was extremely slow so we ended up having to take the stairs 95% of our visit (remember…4th floor!), the other elevator was “out of order” even as we were checking out. There was a little stand at the elevators that said “shuttle service” but we never saw a person sitting there. On Saturday after returning from a funeral, which was the reason for our visit, we bought two 16oz bottles of water, 1 snack size popped corn, 1 snack size (lunch box size) bag of Doritos. The total ***$16.95*** !!! We stood there in shock. No complimentary waters in room. No microwave. We were offered a warm cookie every time we came in from outside. I thought that was odd. Free cookie but no free water. When I asked if there were complimentary waters in room, she said no and gave me 2 room temperature bottles. This was upon arrival day, but only because I asked. There was no complimentary breakfast. We are from Annapolis. Moved to SC two years ago. I expected better from an Annapolis Hotel. We will not be returning to Double Tree.

Great room at a Fantastic value. Staff was attentive and kind.
Pros:

Parking was perfect, I traveled with my dog. I was in super close proximity to 2 areas to take her out. Quick snacks and a restaurant made the property perfect!
