This was a great place to stay. Also, they had to close the hotel temporarily for renovations, but I would definitely go back there. The staff was amazing. The hotel was clean always and they were very accommodating with everything I needed.
Hotel was closed for renovations after driving 11hours to get there

We reserved a 1King room advertised as an executive room but when we checked into the hotel and went to our room, it was not the room that we selected on line. He asked the receptionist to change our room to the room that we selected & paid for but we were not accommodated. We were traveling from out of town so changing hotels wasn’t a option for us.
The wait to check-in was over an hour due to systems being down. The lobby was beautiful until I walked to the elevator. One elevator was down. The wall paper on the walls in the hallways was coming off the walls. The room was terrible. The sheets had stains on them and the television wasn’t working well. The bathroom was old and needed to be renovated. The pictures made this hotel look nice but in person it’s horrible. Don’t stay unless it’s a quick trip.
We arrived for a 300pm checkin. We had a wedding next door at 400. There was two people at the counter and two people checking in and we waited 50 minutes to be helped. I still had to get dressed for the wedding so I got dressed in the bathroom lobby and went to the Marriott next door.
The gym was unlocked, open, with dirty restroom (no toilet paper) and soiled toilet…no paper towels - no towels; facing a partially covered empty pool with dirty patio…the breakfast was closed off by dinner chairs and definitely not worth $20!!! The cook/waiter was playing video games at such a loud pitch - it was a really dark environment and paper plates!
The room was aged but the beds and linens seemed clean and were cozy…our heat worked well and the water was warm - all very pleasurable and needed for good rest. No microwaves in the room. There was only one in the lobby and the night shift desk worker did not make it easy for us to use with condescending tones (my daughter is a swimmer and needed to warm up breakfast)…the 2 elevators that work were very run down and had duct tape holding the floor lights in place - the third was out of order. The nice part was the allowance of an early check in and late check out - super needed for my busy swimmer
This hotel or lack there of, needs updated bad. The old air-conditioning system will keep up, the elevator need updated. I hated everything bout this place. The King Size Room Was Depressing. Restaurant was never open. Terrible 4 night stay.
There was no room service, there was Flies in breakfast room, the breads had fungus, the staff was rude, the restaurant and bar was closed. Overall i had a bad experience. I have never had a experience like this in my entire travel life :(
The check-in took an hour and a half. Computers down, chip reader not working, or some other excuses. There were 6 people in front of us when we showed up and only one attendant. When we finally checked in, the room was gross. Stains on the sheets, sticky floor, broken towel rack and very run-down room. Breakfast seemed nice the first day, but the second day looked like leftovers from the first day. Overall, very un-Wyndham-like.
Broken and frankly scary elevators held together with literal ducktape. Gum on our room door handle. Holes in bathroom wall to see pipes and wires. Water poured out of sink handles when turning on. Harassed by staff when we were approved of 11:30 AM check out time then told they had no record if us being told we could have that check out time. Awful expense and worth no one's time or money. Stay elsewhere.
check in time is bad time
The property is near i-95, which is convenient
My stay was great
My room was full of all kinds of bugs. I keep killing them. This is not a good stay
Property didn't look how I expected. It didn't look like the pictures. For how expensive it was I was very disappointed. No microwave or fridge in the room. Two of the three Elevators didn't work. The one working elevator made strange noises and had duct tape holding buttons and screens in place. Stains on carpet. Floor I was on and room looked run down.
This place is TERRIBLE! I and a few others waited an hour and a half for check in at midnight because the system was running slow. The hotel is extremely run down. In my room the walls were painted over to attempt to cover mold. This is NOT a 3.5 star hotel! THATS FALSE ADVERTISING! I paid on credit through Priceline and the hotel charged my account the price of the hotel plus $100! I’ve come to the area many times - stayed at 2.5 star hotels that were higher quality - and never, have I ever been charged TWICE + $100! I’ll admit, I don’t pay attention to negative reviews because sometimes it’s not as bad as the reviews portray it to be… I was wrong this time! It’s as bad as the reviews say it is! DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!
I have stayed here many times at the north College Park Wyndham and I’ve always had a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel the staff is very friendly and professional invoice treating me like family
The property had insects, the front desk was quick to change us the room but honestly, this huge insect was big enough to be noticed from the entrance door. We found another later at night after we were settled. One of the kids were sick after they saw it. I will never comeback. It’s really not ok.
I had a king corner suite. The bed was comfortable enough. The towels were very soft, but no washcloths in the room. You had to ask at the front desk for those. No hair dryer in the room, either.
The view was of the office building next door, but still not really an awful view, just not the greatest. Only one elevator is working, so that kind-of sucks. But I was on the 2nd floor, so I could take the stairs if I had to.
I feel like it's in a quiet location. Some people might not like the interstate noise, but I guess that doesn't bother me. It's like white noise.
The Mexican restaurant inside, called Salsa's, is very good, in my opinion. The guac is freshly made :)
There is a McDonald's and CVS across the street, which is nice. There is also a shopping center with a Giant and Target a 5 min drive away. Giant is open until 12am, which was useful to me when I needed food. They also have a little convenience store next to the front desk. No vending machines in the hotel, though, which I heard people complain about.
Overall, it was a safe, affordable, convenient place to sleep. It need upgrades and renovation, which they say they are working on, so let's hope that is true.
