COMBATIVE STAFF .
Pros:

What started off as a great stay with Aileen unfortunately quickly turned into a 1star experience. I checked in on FRIDAY night in which I was treated and treated well, I landed late and originally was supposed to checkout the next day but plans changed. From Saturday to Monday I was greeted by pleasant staff , a male(I do not know his name ) and Aileen they ensured my stay was excellent going over and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant and comfortable. Well that changed today. On Monday , I spoke to the young man at the front desk and explained though I had requested housekeeping I hadn’t gotten it for my whole stay. I originally requested it for 3:00 pm then corrected myself and requested 3:30 pm The housekeepers who appeared annoyed showed up to my room at 3:00 despite me making a correction with the front desk which wasn’t a big deal so I told them that I had changed to 3:30 and they came back around 4:30. Upon going back to my room I noticed the room wasn’t serviced completely still trash in the trash and all over the room but I brushed it off as they were ready to leave and after all ATLEAST I got my bed changed .
On Tuesday morning I called the front desk and explained I would be actually checking out today and Glenda explained I could only get until 1:00pm. I explained every other day I had 2 pm but overall just accepted 1pm and hung up the phone.
Within 2 minutes my phone was ringing again. I answered a lady introduced herself as Darlene the head housekeeping and immediately asked me if I was really leaving today. I told her I was then she became extremely combative telling me that the day before the housekeepers came a few times and I wasn’t ready for service .
OK? I explained to her they came at the uncorrected time I had originally told the front desk 3:30 and they came early. She began to argue with me and I explained to her I was in a zoom meeting and whatever discrepancies she had about her staff and the room cleaning was COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT and should not be brought to me . She argued with me that I had to stay on the phone despite me telling her I HAVE TO GO. From the beginning of the call she was accusatory combative and confrontational and I had NO IDEA WHY OR WHERE THIS CALL WAS COMING FROM! Her tone was condescending and rude.
I called Glenda back and explained that the head housekeeper had no business calling confronting me about the miscommunication of her staff as well as telling me “I HAD TO STAY ON THE PHONE DESPITE ME SAYING I HAVE TO GO” and she was dismissive saying
“Well she was trying to give you 2 o clock checkout “
I was completely confused because Glenda originally told me 1pm was the latest she could do and I accepted it. I HAD NO IDEA THE HOUSEKEEPER DARLENE WAS OFFERING 2 pm because from the beginning of the call she was trying to argue with me
UNPROVOKED. The call from Darlene seemed very random AND NOT ONCE DID SHE MENTION 2pm checkout .
It was the most UNPROFESSIONAL INTERACTION THAT was misdirected and I was collateral. There’s no reason any staff should have confronted me about anything that was going on as a result of miscommunication especially if I wasn’t bringing anything to their attention . DO BETTER HOLIDAY IN!

It was okay. Breakfast was not included.
Pros:

It was right near the Boston aquarium and Fire + Ice. It had a big parking lot.

Cons:

You had to pay to park in the hotel parking lot. There was not enough cream or sugar in the room for the coffee set out on display. We asked for extra pillows and blankets, we were told they would be right up and the completely disregarded us.

It was fine-functional for a business trip or single person unconcerned with thorough cleanliness; however, for a family

The pool area was fine- nothing super glamorous but definitely sufficient for entertaining kids. It was clean. The pool was NOT HEATED as advertised- it was quite chilly- this was unanimous among the many people there with us.

Cons:

The room was unclean in many ways. The sofa bed- which we needed to use- was heavily stained and torn. It was in terrible condition for hotel furniture. The TV didn't work and required maintenance. There was heavy dust in several areas. Also- there was so much furniture in the bedroom that we were unable to use our pack n play for our toddler so I had to have him in the bed. The room was poorly lit which made for greater concern bc of the amount of dirtiness that I could see in poor lighting. Overall, I DO NOT think that it was worth its value and am contacting management to discuss.

Polite staff with the exception of one rude employee in the breakfast area. Game room/pool area was very nice. 24 hr fitness room access. Breakfast options were great!

Cons:

Rude employee in breakfast area asked me and my 13 year old daughter if we had a voucher rude and loud in front of everyone like we were stealing. I watched him and he did not ask ANYONE else. We were the only black ones in there. Made me so uncomfortable and embarrassed! Shower was dirty had ring because water filled tub when shower was on. Also hated that I was on the only floor that did not have an ice machine. I love ice and eat it all the time.

Stay!!
Pros:

The pool and sports deck all in one is the BEST thing ever when you have kids!! Location was perfect to so much yet a pretty quiet area. Walked from the T and it was not even a 10 minute walk. Price! location! front desk staff!!

Cons:

Overpriced cup of noodles. $5 is a bit much

Pros:

I was shocked at the condition of our room. There was a condom wrapper on the pull out couch/mattress, a bug crawling in the bed and blood on the curtains. While the pool area was a hit with the kids, the quality of the room was poor.
