Great location near the T green and orange lines and several bus lines, close to Union Square Somerville and the hotel is clean, comfortable and staff is very friendly and helpful.
Only one elevator worked and if you dont rush right in the door closes and your stuck waiting for it again.

Wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Cambridge! Alex and Danny were very helpful!
We stayed here for a week. Food from the bar was great, good size rooms, clean with all the amenities required. A special mention to Danny, the Operations Director. Such a polite and courteous guy. We had a good chat whilst he was covering the bar. Anything you need help with is never too much trouble.

Free shuttle service from the hotel to various Boston sites (Museum of Science, Aquarium, etc.)
Breakfast was good. Most staff were friendly and helpful.
Had to change room because one bed was broken. Pool was closed because due to "unforeseen circumstance". It did reopen the next morning.
We were not told that children under 11 ate for free in the hotel restaurant until after we had gone out to eat. I even asked about options at the front desk. Thought they would have shared that information with us since we had children with us.
I had a great stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting the Boston/Cambridge area.
The maid service was impressive. The carpet, towels and bedding were nice and clean. The parking lot is nice. I did not like the shower temperature control. It was hard to set the dial between scalding hot and cool. If you have kids or teens, definitely help them with this. With younger kids, keep them away from the dial, because we are talking scalding water. The tile on the bathroom floor is very slippery when wet. Bring water shoes.
