I had to book a last minute hotel room and Best Western gave the best rates on Booking.com.

My overnight stay was very nice and the King size bed was so comfortable, that I fell right to sleep.

The staff was very pleasant.

I liked the free breakfast, but I could tell the 3 option choices they offered were kept in a warming unit....nonetheless, it served its purpose. I enjoyed the HOT ☕️!

Overall, a good experience. I would stay there again.

7/6/26 we checked into the Waterville Grand Best Western Plus, as my husband had a day surgery in Waterville the next day and living 80 miles away, it was better to go for the night. Had a great evening and when I packed the car in the morning, I opened the rear lift gate (it unlocks auto as I approach), put in our overnight bag, cpap machines, distilled water and went around to the driver passenger door and through in my purse and bag I was to take in with me while I waited for my husband's surgery. I shut the door and then went back and lowered the lift gate, went to the driver's door and it's locked! OMG OMG OMG. My purse, car fob, wallet, AAA card, cellphone, husbands' wallet and his phone are all in my purse now locked in the car. I have tried intentionally locking my keys in the car to make sure this would never happen and my car wouldn't lock, so what was different this time? I went to the lobby and told that I had a big problem and told them what happened, but that I needed to get my husband to the hospital as his appointment is in 45 minutes and hotel is only a mile from the hospital. Deseree called Triple A and handed me the phone and then pressed the prompts when indicated. Darlene said she would take my husband to the hospital while I waited for Triple A to arrive. Brian, who has worked there for 56 years came back from the bank and Darlene asked him if he would take my husband over to the hospital. Part of my crisis was averted. The lady at AAA was so kind and put in that this was an emergency and AAA was there within the half hour and had my car unlocked. I also need to point out that in this hotel it isn't a buffet style; it is breakfast off a limited menu, choice of 3 different menus and a waitress waits on you. Knowing my husband was in the room as he couldn't eat due to general anesthesia he was going to be getting, I went down with only my room card. Mistake! When I realized I needed to tip the waitress, I asked Brian if he could put the tip on my room and instead of doing that, he gave me $5.00 so I could tip the waitress and before leaving I made sure he got his money back. I can't thank Brian, Darlene & Deseree enough for all they did so that our day continued on the way it was originally supposed. They did more than I could have ever asked for. I would stay here most definitely again, only because of the way we were treated and how accommodating they were to us.
