Wonderful place for a family vacation!
Pros:

Loved having a restaurant in the same building and everyone was so helpful and friendly!!

It was not a pleasant night to sleep on a hotel that had a good reputation but doesn’t stand to it.
Pros:

It’s not a bad location.

Cons:

The ac is not working and when we called the front desk we are told that they have one control for all the rooms temperature and we were told just to turn off the thermostat and they will bring us a fan instead. The room temp is at 77 F. One side of the room where the tv and the stand up lamp are plugged doesn’t work, no electricity on the outlet . Told staff again and said that they can’t do anything about and that is the only place we can plug the fan. We ask for another room and staff member said no vacant anymore but when we checked the online booking in the same hotel there was some rooms available.

Avoid the Wyndham South Minneapolis!
Pros:

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Front desk personnel were frequently non-existent. The rooms were poorly maintained. The restaurant didn’t open one morning for breakfast. The general hospitality acumen of the staff was non-existent. The lobby furniture was dirty.

Because we were not notified of the broken elevators, we had to scramble to find a place, lost $500
Pros:

I booked the stay for my mother and sister who have disabilities. My mom can not climb stairs. In the past we had stayed and enjoyed the hotel, but for this visit the elevator was broken

Cons:

The elevators were broken. I arrived at 9:30 pm and they let us know then in person. No attempt to notify us had been made. They said they hoped it would not be an issue. Our room was on the 4th floor, and my mom cannot climb stairs. They agreed to refund both rooms for the stay since she would not be able to access it. That said, I had to spend an extra $500 on a different hotel because I was booking last minute at night, and many of the less expensive ones were sold out. I felt that the least they could have done would have been to notify me as soon as it was known that the elevators were out. I felt very inconvenienced.

No problems. Had everything we needed.
Cons:

I wish the coffee maker wasn't in the bathroom. that seems unsanitary to me. But I just go to the lobby and get coffee from there. Also, there was a suspicious van in the parking lot and a guy peeing in the bushes behind it.

Cons:

$300/night rate was high for the quality of the hotel in general. I can do a lot better at pther hotels of the same level…$100/night better.
