Riverfront Hotel

Everything advertised was inaccurate. It's not river side breakfast was supposed to be included nothing was available except cereal with expired milk. There were no staff to ask for help. 10/10 do not recommend. The pool is drained and closed. The restaurant bar closed with water all over the floors holes in guest room wall. I requested a refund and will not rest well until the money is back in my account... Unexceptable

Visiting family this a convenient place to stay.

The staff was friendly, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. However, the hotel grounds were terrible. I chose this hotel somewhat based on the pictures that were advertised but those pictures were very misleading. The parking lot needs a complete re-do, there is no landscaping, and walking around the hotel was sketchy - I didn’t feel safe walking down to the river by myself. The hotel billboard did not light up at night, and there were still Christmas decorations in the lobby. There is little care in the appearance of this hotel.

Beds were uncomfortable, lamps had no plug ins, bathtub didn't drain...

The bed was comfy. Carpet was ripped. Toilet seat had missing paint on it. TV remote didn't work. Heater/air conditioner made noise all night even tho it was turned off. Was never told by staff about a breakfast. I seen it as I was checking out. People pay a few dollars more for a better hotel. I should've. Lesson learned.

Hotel is older. Needs some care. Inside was clean. My room was updated and had a comfortable king bed. AC worked great. Half the price of other hotels in the area. Just right for a work trip.

A place to sleep in route to Canada.

Room fine. Breakfast area was dirty everywhere - old waffle dough crusted. Loung floor had chunks of dirt everywhere... Fine location - TERRIBLE management

The staff did not seem super attentive, but the room was clean and comfortable. There seemed to be some construction happening so there was some clutter. Breakfast the first day there was no coffee, and no staff at the desk to inform about it. By the time we left for the day the coffee had been refilled so we were able to make a cup to go. Overall not bad for the value.

This place is in need of an upgrade.

The Hotel was a ghost hotel...so big and so alone. the pictures that entice me were a big deception.
Actually, I think they should close it. Looks like at one time it was beautiful, but Not Any More. I do NOT RECOMEND it to anyone

I'm not goung to lie, the property is very run down and needs some love but the people were nice and the room served its purpose.

This hotel was old dirty and mismanaged. The carpets were very old stained and dirty with not only ground in dirt but with debris on the carpet. There was no thermostat in the room so no way of controlling the air conditioner and it was freezing in the room. We asked a very indifferent front desk person to sign us a different room and she did however it was not much of an improvement but there was a thermostat. The staff spent most of their time outside smoking. It was difficult to find staff. The breakfast items offered were scarce and not replenished. If not for it being the only hotel available in International Falls we would have insisted on our payment being returned and moved on. Most of the hotel is not open for business and the ceiling is leaking so there are pails sitting in the halls to catch water. The maintenance man had a permanent spot in front of the TV.
