When you walk into the room, you get this humid smell it turned out to be the shower curtain that was very dirty. I think that’s where the smell was coming from.i think the room should have been checked and prepared for when guess arrived. When i got in the room it was hot and had a humid smell.

Stolen funds by the establishment at the radisson in grand rapids

Arrived at faciltiy...desk clerk said we had no reservation..couldnt find us in system..
Had to drive 45 miles to grand haven to but another room...the next day my credit card was charged 139 for a stay at the radisson hotel which we did not stay at...we were lied to and stolen from

The desk clerk said the phone number on our reservation wasnt the raddisons number..we stood at the desk and dialed the number which rang at the d3sk with our name on the caller i.d....your standard of stealing money from custers will be reported to the better business bureau..

stay there because all other places were full.
Pros:

appearance is good but need more personnel to clean the outside.
garbage outside the building (main entrance) was overflow giving a bad aspect x

Pay the extra money to stay somewhere else downtown!
Pros:

Good location.

Cons:

The restaurant/bar and pool were closed. The person making the coffee didn’t know how to do it so the first batch was watery and even in ran out, she had no refill made so there was no coffee when I got down there. Also there was no milk for the cereal and the little muffins didn’t cut it so we didn’t eat there.

The hotel was dirty, only one ice machine for the whole building. No coffee service until morning. No breakfast the restaurant was shut for maintenance. No one working. Etc. yuck

It was close to the hospital that we had multiple appointments at

Cons:

The filth was out of hand. The fridge wasn't cleaned out. There was Food all over the floor. Stained bedding and floor of something red. The toilet seat was busted. It literally came out from under u when we sat down on it. The furniture was so gross i wouldnt have sat in it for anything. Trash outside everywhere over flowing for 2 strait days and all over the property. Their restaurant was shut down due to health concerns. And the free water and coffee they did have had green growth on the inside of the water container as it was a clear container. ABSOLUTELY GROSS!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Disappointing. I will not be back.

The room was dusty and dirty, the front lobby smelled like cigarettes when we walked in and the riverfront view was not worth paying extra for we couldn’t really even see it because of the building in front of our view. All we could see was the dirty roof. In addition, when I booked I was told the room was $275 I see on my card that I was charged 313.34 but I was never given any receipt or explanation of charges to know why I was charged more. I assume it was tax and fees but I have no idea. The front desk just told me I am charged through booking.com and that I need to find out from them.

Cons:

Could have been cleaner and the staff could have been more friendly upon arrival. I felt like I was bothering them.
