The pool made up for the bad parts

Very good
Pros:

It was very clean . The bed was comfortable. The heated outside pool was nice. All the live plants in the hotel was a nice touch.

Cons:

The room I chose I thought had a good view of the lake but it didn't tell me it was a view of a parking lot with water in sight.
Both chairs in our room was old and torn or stained which wasn't a good first impression but the ambiance of the hotel and cleanliness made up for it .

Nice place, modern, nice staff, clean… room window shades need serious work.
Pros:

Very nice place and good service, clean.

Cons:

The window shades let in a ton of light at night and in the am. The issue is the pull down light blocking shade is like 1-2 inches from the actual windows with zero side coverage. A ton of light from the ultra bright parking lot lights and early am sunlight illuminates the room. Kept our child up and us longer than necessary. Made sweeping difficult. Honestly quite large oversight for a hotel of this cost and stature. Virtually every other hotel I’ve stayed in that is way cheaper per night has light blocking shades! The desk manager comped us a breakfast over this which was nice but the hotel really needs to address this issue considering the high nightly cost of staying here.

Nice place to stay but overpriced.
Pros:

Breakfast menu was poor. I expected a normal breakfast menu and service. For as large of hotel the breakfast was poor. We enjoyed being by the beach. The walk to the downtown shopping are was longer than expected when reading the description of the hotel location. The dinner service was very nice.

Cons:

Over priced. The lamp in the room did not work.

Couldn’t be happier!
Pros:

We keep coming back to Delamar visit after visit - it’s the only place we’ll stay in TC! There’s nothing better than an 96 degree outdoor pool in the dead of a MI winter.

Must stay here!
Pros:

Everything was beautiful with the snow and cold weather. Lovely atmosphere at night in the bar. This was our first time to Traverse. We'd like to come back and stay here and go to the wineries.
