Really nice hotel. From check in- staff was super friendly. Room was clean, beds comfy. The outdoor pool was amazing in the winter cold, so toasty. The indoor pool, spa and sauna were nice. The beautiful lobby had live music from 6-9. The only issues we had were no microwave, and no continental breakfast. But this wasn’t a huge issue. The hotel was Quiet believe it or not.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Delamar TC. The staff was warm and friendly. I loved the outdoor heated pool and cozy cabanas and took advantage of their shuttle into downtown TC.
The Delamar Hotel was a delightful spot to celebrate my 70th birthday. The staff were welcoming and professional, the food was absolutely phenomenal, the accommodation and amenities were spectacular, especially jumping in to the 102° heated outdoor pool in the middle of winter! What a treat! It was definitely on my bucket list and I was so excited to check that box on this trip.
Can’t wait to return and explore more of the wonders of the Traverse City area!
This was our first stay at the Delamar and we will definitely stay again! The staff is very friendly, the rooms are well-appointed, clean and very comfortable. The location is ideal; less than a half mile from shopping, restaurants, etc. on Front Street. The heated outdoor pool is so fun - swimming in the snow! Highly recommend the Delamar!

The window shades let in a ton of light at night and in the am. The issue is the pull down light blocking shade is like 1-2 inches from the actual windows with zero side coverage. A ton of light from the ultra bright parking lot lights and early am sunlight illuminates the room. Kept our child up and us longer than necessary. Made sweeping difficult. Honestly quite large oversight for a hotel of this cost and stature. Virtually every other hotel I’ve stayed in that is way cheaper per night has light blocking shades! The desk manager comped us a breakfast over this which was nice but the hotel really needs to address this issue considering the high nightly cost of staying here.
It was very clean . The bed was comfortable. The heated outside pool was nice. All the live plants in the hotel was a nice touch.
The room I chose I thought had a good view of the lake but it didn't tell me it was a view of a parking lot with water in sight.
Both chairs in our room was old and torn or stained which wasn't a good first impression but the ambiance of the hotel and cleanliness made up for it .
Breakfast menu was poor. I expected a normal breakfast menu and service. For as large of hotel the breakfast was poor. We enjoyed being by the beach. The walk to the downtown shopping are was longer than expected when reading the description of the hotel location. The dinner service was very nice.
Over priced. The lamp in the room did not work.

Every year we come to here to relax after the hectic holiday season. It’s always such a great time and a peaceful get away! The amenities are fantastic and the staff is so friendly. Beds are very comfortable and views are gorgeous.
