Delamar Traverse City

I enjoyed the friendly staff and the welcoming atmosphere. The amenities were very nice and available when I wanted to use them.

This hotel is spacious, clean, and fun. I love the heated outdoor pool and indoor pool and hot tub. Staff is super kind and friendly. Nice that they offer wine or sparkling water when you check in.

A wonderful place with fabulous views of the bay. Exceptionally kind and helpful staff. Comfortable room, though not exceptional for someone in a wheelchair.

Very nice, nice pool, nice staff, nice free sparkling white wine. I am adding more words here to hit the limit but I would come out to Traverse city again just for this hotel.

On Friday afternoon, I received a call from my mom that my dad was in the hospital to be transferred to Traverse City. A quick search to find the best hotel in the city, I found the Delamar. Never have I stayed downtown, but knowing I was going to be tired and stressed, I booked the Delamar for my mom. The location was very close to the hospital. A calming location, so many little nooks look out to the Lake Michigan bay. When I was told it was a redone Holiday Inn, I was worried. Walking into the hotel, I was not. From the champagne at check in, to the chill live music, to the fabulous food created by the very talented, Chef Sara, this hotel is like none that I have visited in Michigan. I will return. The attention to detail is remarkable. They absolutely value customer service. This hotel is a pearl.

I booked a room at Delamar Traverse City as I wanted to celebrate my birthday in TC. I also wanted to splash around in a heated outdoor pool. The attention to detail from arrival to departure was superb. Thanks in part to Mariia, the front desk associate. Upon arrival we received 2 complimentary glasses of sparkling wine. Next, I received a room upgrade since it was birthday! To my surprise there even was a birthday card, balloon & cupcake waiting for me. Another nice gesture. The room had a fabulous view of the bay. However, I really liked the cloudburst shower. Finally, the heated outdoor pool was absolutely a delight!

I highly recommend the Delamar in Traverse City. It is impeccable. The staff is friendly, professional and go above and beyond to make you feel like a special guest.

I love this hotel! We always try to stay here. From the welcome we receive at the front desk, to the spacious interior, and the clean, comfortable rooms, especially the ones overlooking the bay, it is top notch!

Ask for a lakefront room and eat at the restaurant, both were fantastic! Beautiful hotel, great amenities and lovely staff.

I absolutely loved this hotel and look forward to coming back again and sharing with friends and family looking to visit Northern Michigan.

After a 7 hour drive, a welcome drink is exactly what we needed, and Delamar did not disappoint! Well appointed decor, Bulgari amenities in the bathroom, huge towels, mini fridge, and, directly on the beach on Traverse City West Bay, a great spot to relax. The Bay view rooms are more $ but worth it! The outdoor heated pool was perfect for a dip after the hot tub and sauna, plenty of towels, but no outdoor bar in the heated pool area, if that's the vibe you want. Huge patio with bay view, fireplace and a cozy room to read or play games, or work quietly if need to.
Staff is efficient, and soo friendly, front desk waved as you passed by and offered "have a great day" a very nice touch. Beds were good, but pillows were awesome, large walk in shower and fluffy bathrobes were wonderful, housekeeping brought additional items with just a note onthe bed and were also very efficient. There were lots of kids as we were hitting the edge of spring break , I'd recommend a midweek stay as it clears out and no wet feet running through the lobby, or down your hallway. The best is the free shuttle that takes you anywhere in the local downtown/beach/bay area so you have a designated driver to take you to the fun places on Front Street.
We were very impressed with the whole resort, just be aware of the nightly resort fee, but the inclusions are worth it.

Love all the updates, interior is very pretty and comfortable. The outdoor pool and cozy cabanas were a hit with the kids. Food was good in the coffee bar area.

Very nice property close to downtown Traverse City and directly on the bay waterfront. The staff were amazing and attentive to the needs of guests. On-site dining was very enjoyable. The only concern was guest rooms lacked enough power outlets.
