Decent but expensive country pub
Pros:

Lovely pub set in a gorgeous village.

Cons:

Access to our room was either through the crowded pub, by prising a door open with your finger tips or walking the whole length of building twice as the night access only had stairs on the other side of the building to the room.
The First Lady we dealt with (middle aged to older) could do with a few lessons in customer service, she made it blatantly clear she had no interest in dealing with us checking in.
All other staff were lovely and made up for her.

My room was cancelled for the 1st night with no excuse and by sending a WhatsApp message. No help or other arrangements were provided.

Pros:

The staff were very nice and attentive, the room was nice but odd things were not thought out such as how do you open the window in the bathroom, the bed was really comfortable and the heating actually works which is good.

Cons:

The extractor didn't work in the bathroom so everything steamed up, the topper on the bed was out of sinc, lighting in room was difficult

Pros:

Not the first time we have stayed - lovely comfy beds, very clean rooms and hearty breakfast !

Cons:

The shower screens don’t cover as much of the shower tray as they could so it’s really easy to wet the floor !

Fantastic place food in the pub excellent, however service was a bit poor.

Stayed in the suite, fantastic room.

Cons:

We ate in the restaurant and the food was fantastic, however service was poor. Regarding the room, just a little dark in the bedroom but a minor thing.

Pros:

Everything was great, not one fault. All the staff were busy but attentive and pleasant.

Food was lovely, drinks good & accomodation was quite nice & clean. Overall it was a plesant stay.

Cons:

Didnt think much of the Espresso Martini. Looked good, tasted different. Still it looked good.
