Excellent staff who were really helpful and a very easy, comfortable stay.
Pros:

The staff were so helpful and lovely, charged my phone for me, were really friendly and helped with all questions. The food was really nice, room was perfect and a great location.

Superb!
Pros:

I cannot fault the hotel. Staff are friendly and professional. Rooms and en-suite were impeccably clean and beautifully presented. Best of all is the food. I will definately stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Lovely stay and will be back
Pros:

Staff were great, friendly and helpful we switched rooms on our second evening as we had requested a room with a bath before arriving but we got the room with a shower. Staff couldn’t do enough to help us.

Cons:

The floorboards in our second room with the bath creaked a lot.

As it was a very friendly Hotel good food we would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Staff were excellent very friendly. Breakfast and Dinner very good.what we did like as it is a very busy Hotel with drinking/ dinner’s & parties we did not here a thing in are bedroom . Just up the road was a very nice woodland walk with a wetland etc and a canal walk which you can do a round trip and land back at the Hotel.

Cons:

Bedroom & Hallway looking a little tiered and poor lighting in bedroom. The Hotel is a very busy in the evening with people drinking/ dinners and parties which is very good for the Hotel. But as a guest staying in the Hotel if you have been out for the day you have a job to park you should have some residents parking available.

Brilliant stay in a beautiful old house filled with charm. Will be back.
Pros:

Close to where we needed to be. Friendly helpful staff. We were given the suite, huge bathroom, a small garden. Comfy bed. An iron brought instantly, breakfast was good. Very quiet and peaceful even although very busy.

Cons:

Disabled parking, not enough. We arrived late afternoon and thought we would have to park down the hill but eventually found a space at road level. We missed Sunday supper as we were sitting in the bar and didn’t know the food stopped at 7.30 pm. There were 6 of us. The main lighting in the bedroom was very poor as there was none, just the bedside lamps. The door to room 1 Chester was VERY heavily sprung which made it difficult to get open.
