Not a dam thing, the whole hotel was under construction and this website nor there page said a word about it. The paint on the walls was coming off, the curtains had wholes in it, they said they had belcanys he'll no the did one step out the door say good bye to your life straight down fall and the windows was nasty as hell, dusty everywhere, stains on the bed rugs are loose I fall three times, the elevators made me fell like I was in a jail house or mental ward cause they had paint all over them rug loose and padded walls. I wish I could get my money back or the web site give me a good room some place nice fir the cost I had to pay for this junkie hell whole. I reckoned mend noone to stay here ever. O and they took there pool out filled it in with concrete and don't have no breakfast bar or restaurant here either now. I'm 48 years old I have stayed alot if places but here I would so he'll no don't do it ever. I want my money back have pictures to prove my case to.
All of it terrible place to stay I want my money back. Not a dam thing, the whole hotel was under construction and this website nor there page said a word about it. The location was convenient to the highway and to dining options.
The hotel was about to undergo renovations. When we arrived, we were told the jackhammers "probably would not start before 8:00." The blackout curtains in the room were so threadbare that I used pants hangers to close the gaps. We absolutely would have chosen another hotel, if we had been made aware of this situation.
When Holiday in sent me a disingenuous survey about our stay, I gave the same report. The response was that they would let their staff know so that they could improve. (The two staff members we encountered were clearly trying to do their best with a hopeless situation, so I hope they have told corporate to stuff it.)
This place was under construction and should be shut down as i felt the guests were the inconvenience not the construction going on. It went on well into evening hours
Property was under construction and dirty.
The faucet was lose and the lamo stands were dirty
Very loud and unsettling
Every employee we interacted with was excellent, but that’s where the positives end. The room was run down, fairly clean minus the fish hook my husband almost stepped on. The hot and cold water would change on its own. The rest of the hotel is absolutely terrible. Nothing on here told us the hotel was under a poorly managed renovation.
It was under construction. The pool area was being removed. Dust in the air from sanding plaster. Paint smell. Not worth 1/2 of what I paid.
Friendly staff, OK price
A 1970’s relic undergoing needed refurbishing, which I didn’t know when I booked. Cracked sink, dirty windows, sticky door handle. Construction workers entered our locked room twice while my wife was dressing.
The property was fairly run down and lots of areas were in need of maintenance. My room had not been vacuumed when I arrived in the room. I found hair and a nail clipping on the carpet. Staff was friendly but I was very disappointed with the overall condition of the hotel and room.
Didn’t know I was staying at a rest stop motel. Hotel is under renovation which wasn’t advertised upon booking. It looks abandoned from the outside. The rooms need help, and not up to par to rent out to folks paying rent the kind of money they’re asking for. Will not be staying here in the near future.
The lobby of the hotel was nice and clean, but the elevator and surrounding areas were very dirty and needed vacuumed. The elevator was super sketchy and I ended up walking down 4 flights of stairs. The room itself was very clean and was as advertised.
I have pictures of the property and the breakfast we were served
We were in town for a family reunion at Sand Run Metro Park. We stayed at the Holiday Inn. We were warmly greeted by the desk clerk. Our room was clean with a nice large shower. The bed was very comfortable and overall we had a very nice stay with no compliants.
The shower is in poor condition including some mold. The room windows need replacement as it was difficult to see out of them. The building as a whole is showing it's age. The staff was good, friendly and helpful. We don't travel very much but we would probalby not stay at this HI again.
I wasn’t comfortable in the bed but my husband was. I was disappointed that the hair dryer didn’t work. Moldings were coming away from the wall. The elevator was rickety.
Location
I have stayed here over the years, but this will be my last time. Lots of water damage in the hallways, hotel is rundown and not taken care of. Room was musty, and mildew smelling.
The staff was friendly. No problem, there. And compared to a newer hotel I stayed in a week earlier, this older property was blessedly quiet. I couldn't hear a thing once I was in my room. That was nice. But this property had definitely seen better days. The hallways, particularly on the second floor, were shabby -- peeling and in need of apparent repair. The carpet in the elevators was stained and worn. There was also trash in the shrubs that surrounded the parking lot. In my room's bathroom, the shower drain was super slow and the shower knob felt like it would fall off in my hand. Overall, the place just had the vibe of been worn out and in need of a good facelift. The impression was not good at all. I expected more from a Holiday Inn
Great time
