The bartender was awful. Too busy talking to a friend to acknowledge our presence.
No smiles. Totally not a Pelican Bay employee. Not helpful. Please take the time to review his performance.

Awesome
Pros:

The property is beautifully decorated, specially the lobby and the breakfast area. The rooms are big and very clean, with very comfortable beds and pillows . The view to the lake with the fountain is beautiful. Ample parking; nice outdoor area under the trees with tables and chairs. The pool was clean and had cold water and ice available next to it. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle to the beach every hour; our driver was very nice and offered us cold water bottles on our way back from the beach. There are also complimentary, beach chairs, umbrellas and towels; the driver takes care of loading everything into the shuttle Breakfast was very good, there is even live music playing during breakfast, which, together with the lake view is quite an experience. For those who like exercise, there are complimentary bicycles and a gym; and for those who don't, there are complimentary donuts on the lobby. All in all, the hotel exceeded my expectations.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful property!
Pros:

Complimentary breakfast in the morning with guitarist was amazing! Great views and great atmosphere. Rooms were not cookie cutter - we loved the quaint feel! Shuttle service to the beach was a huge plus and our driver was very friendly!

Cons:

Pillows on the bed could have been a little more firm, but that is stretching to find something that could have been better with my stay as it was one of our best stays in a hotel!

Very accommodating for large groups
Pros:

We had a fantastic time at the Inn. I was traveling with a large group and everyone was super accommodating. Krenar was especially great, and was helpful whenever our large group wanted to use the bikes or we needed a drive to the beach. Would definitely recommend!
