Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. Waiting two and a half hours past the stated check-in time was frustrating
Pros:

The hotel has a good location in St. George, and there are some opportunities for activities and facilities on site. While nothing was particularly impressive, the location and the available options were decent.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there were two major issues with our stay.
First, check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM. We arrived on time, but were then left waiting in the reception for two and a half hours, until around 5:30 PM, before we could actually check in. Having a guaranteed check-in time of 3:00 PM and then having to wait until 5:30 PM is simply not acceptable.

Second, we had specifically booked a Junior Suite, but when we finally got our room, we had been downgraded to a standard room. We were told there was some kind of problem with the pipes in the Junior Suite. While things can obviously go wrong, what was extremely disappointing was that the hotel offered no compensation, no upgrade, no refund, and no meaningful apology for giving us a significantly different room from the one we had paid for.
