Oetty, I know, but the Mexican hotel we stayed in the rest of our vacation was much better.
Of course I’m probably paying more for it!?
This place looks fine initially. After the first glance it becomes clear it's an old, run-down property who's best days are long gone. The elevator was slow and dirty with a slimy floor. The bedboard chipped and scratched. The old, dirty carpet likely housed stains and substances I didn't even want to guess at. The staff was fine. But when I asked at the front desk whether there are towels by the pool, she gave me what looked like a standard room towel but turned out to be a bath mat. The pool was filled with rowdy high school kids playing football, who didn't cease when I entered. The location was fine, and it was economical on Booking.com. But I'll never stay here again.
Our hotel room was clean, but we did not want to stay in it because it was too hot and there was construction going on on our hallway between 7 AM and 5 PM.
No one told us that we could not sleep past seven because there would be concrete drilling in the room beside us. No one told us that we would be on the hot side of the building and when we arrived, our hotel room was 76°. It took 12 hours to get it down to a reasonable temperature and we had to keep our curtains closed completely to keep our room cool enough to stay there overnight. We ask for a fan and they told us they would bring one. They did not. We had to go buy a fan. The next morning we go to check out and the man had a fan on beside him and the area was air-conditioned. I swear to God, our hallway was 85° going to our room. Worst place ever.
Our room was 76 degrees and the front desk said that is because we are on the sunny side of the building. They said that they would provide us with fans. When we returned to our room, no fans. We requested a second time and the staff said that they could not find any fans. WE HAD TO GO BUY A FAN SO OUR ROOM WAS TOLERABLE. They did not care. Also, major demolition and construction of the rooms BESIDE us started at 7AM in the morning and continued all day. This hotel is HELL. Who cares if it is clean - it is LOUD and HOT and nobody cares. They posted signs on DAY 3 after I complained like that would solve the problem (attached). I have never stayed at a hotel that does not care AT ALL about the comfort of their guests. I can't add the videos of being awakened at 7AM by construction (only pictures are accepted). Pictures of how hot our room was cannot be included because I didn't take a pic our our thermostat during our first day there. I wish I would have saved the receipt of the fan that I HAD to buy in order to sleep in comfort. However, I do have included a picture of the box of the fan. Being hot and disturbed by noise is not my idea of hospitality. We were here for the birth or our grandchild and this hotel ruined our trip. I AM NOT A FAN.
Location
Ac noise
its pretty basic and there's really nothing in the area- but it does the job if you need a one night stop to travel
If I could give 0 stars I would. We booked a room and was told if our flight was going to be delayed or canceled, they would refund our money because it's an airline issue, not us just canceling. However, since we are stuck in Tampa and can't fly out due to a storm ( I have all the flight delay info texts and emails ). Susanna the hotel manager blatantly said, nope won't do it on a same day cancelation. Well Susanna I'm not sure how far in advance I can give you a notice on a storm delay where we have been stting at the airport in Tampa for 8 hours. Beware before you book this hotel if you have a flight.
The elevator is quite outdated and operates very slowly; it is in significant need of replacement.
Cómodo, cerca al aeropuerto, con servicio de recogida del aeropuerto al hotel gratis (solo debes llamarlos) además supremamente amables y disponibles para lo que uno necesite, además tienen detalles como agua gratis, te, café, entre otros
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, staff was ok, expected breakfast for the price of the hotel, but it's not included.
No free breakfast with the cost of the hotel you would think that it would be included, but other than that it was a good trip
My girlfriend was happy with it and I benefited from that so I am happy
Cups in the rooms are pretty small
