The room itself was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was plush and inviting, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities — microwave, mini-fridge, spacious work desk, and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. Everything was well-maintained and fresh, creating a relaxing and stress-free environment.

One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. There was a great selection of hot and cold options, all well-stocked and delicious. The breakfast area was clean and organized, and the staff kept everything running smoothly even during busy hours.

Pros:

It was clean and the breakfast was good

Cons:

Room 231 is the room I stayed in and it had zero heat and when asked if it could be fixed or a room change I was told "I'm the only worker no one is here until 9a. So I asked for extra blankets then and again was told no because there were no other staff present until 9a

Poor Room. Not Maintained. Looks Nice Outside. No WiFi. Would Not Recommend.
Pros:

The building looked nice on the outside, and the staff were friendly when we checked in. The location was also decent, if a little busy. They had a complementary breakfast in the morning.

Cons:

When we first arrived, the hotel looked very nice, even though some of the services were closed for the season, like the pool. When we went to our room, however, things changed. The stairs were at the back of the hotel, and they were very steep and narrow. When we brought our luggage in, we used the elevator (in the same place), which was very shady and had no service/certification forms posted. We were on the second floor, which smelled bad and different depending on where you were. Some places smelled like marijuana, and some were just musty; none smelled necessarily clean. The room itself was tucked behind a corner, and it was freezing; we were unable to adjust the temperature. The bathroom was probably the worst because the toilet paper holder was broken, and the bathtub was cracked worse than the Sahara Desert floor. Their wifi also did not work. It disconnected every couple of minutes, and even when connected, it was very slow, a couple of hundred kB.

It was a good value for the money and was decent enough that my picky wife didn’t complain about it.
Pros:

Linens were clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was also clean. Good location, just off I-35. The pool and exercise room looked to be in good condition (we didn’t use either).

Cons:

The hotel was old. Not what we expected for a Windham. The breakfast food was warm, at best, but there was a microwave (which I didn’t see until my second serving).
