Don't go there it is horrible
Pros:

Horrible customer service. Front desk person was so mean and discriminate against people of color and from distant ethnic backgrounds. I asked the housekeeper for a towel she gave a towel from the dirty bag. The room bathroom was filthy and smelled. Moldy rooms.

Pros:

The rooms are ridiculously overpriced for the crappy cramped space given. Holes in the walls and ceiling. No space to walk thru by yourself, let alone carrying luggage. Crumbs in furniture. Blood stains on the wall. Just disgusting for such a gouging price in a town that isn't offering anything of great value.

Adjacent to many things, AC worked well for mid July summer stay. Pool was clean .
Pros:

Fresh fruit, choice of protein and very clean. Loved the juice offerings and atmosphere. Staff service (Tiffany) was great!

Cons:

I had a two night stay with my family and no housekeeping. Came back to our room with no made beds or clean linens however, when we called the front desk they were prompt to bring up late evening.

Probably won’t stay here again unless the price is favorable compared to other hotels in the Appleton airport area.
Pros:

The Double Tree was in a good location for us with flying into Appleton. It was very clean and quiet.

Cons:

We were very disappointed that breakfast was not included, and the $14.95 breakfast buffet was nothing more than almost every other hotels included breakfast.

Below my expectation for Hilton.
Pros:

Beds were comfortable
Location

Cons:

Extra cost for breakfast. Would not let me add discounted rate as Honors member.

Breakfast was $15 and buffet was virtually empty when we arrived. Most items had been taken already by earlier guests.

Room air conditioning was sub par and room felt damp with mildew smell.

Disappointing
Pros:

Clean and nice hotel overall

Cons:

I didn’t like my meal at all and it was expensive. The man who checked me in was not friendly and didn’t tell me where anything was or when check out was- he told me nothing- just gave me the key. There were kids running up and down hallways past 10pm screaming. The pool was crowded and loud so I didn’t even use the hot tub which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel.

Would consider staying there again but definitely won’t eat in their restaurant.
Pros:

Lovely facility and very comfortable room and bed. The cookies at check-in were delicious.

Cons:

The breakfast staff was kind and accommodating but the food was awful. Exceptionally greasy sausages, moldy strawberries in the fruit salad, dry scrambled eggs and mediocre coffee. The experience was less inviting than the free breakfast offered at most facilities that cost less but there was a $10.00 per person charge for it.
