The beds were terrible. One of the beds you could visibly see the indentations in the mattress.

The lobby was open and inviting. The front counter was super friendly and nice.

Cons:

There was hair still in the bath tub, dirt/grim built up around the drain of the tub and what looked like someone’s boogers flicked up on the ceiling.

It was entirely adequate.
Pros:

It was near all the things I was there to do. The pool was heated enough to be comfortable in the winter. The Crabtree and Evelyn soap was nice.

Cons:

The amenities were minimal. No free breakfast. Nickeled and dimed everywhere.

Beautiful hotel, with amazing staff. Just fell short for the price per night.
Pros:

Our room was wonderful. The staff was always so on point and so eager to help. Loved the little snack bar to purchase items from.

Cons:

The pool was absolutely freezing, the room, the water, all of it. We were only able to stay in for about 15 minutes.

Not a huge fan of the breakfast set up. It was all very confusing even after a woman came to greet us. We didn’t seem to be the only one’s confused.

While in the elevator we noticed a sign for Starbucks Carmel Frappe, my husband and I both wanted one, when we approached, we asked to see the menu to ensure frappe’s were on it before ordering, they were, I believe they were the last item on the right side of the menu. We were told they do not make frappe’s.

Conveniently located.
Pros:

Location was perfect for the family gathering, near the interstate and a direct shot to downtown Madison.

Cons:

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. A little pricey.
