It was convenient and right in the heart of Makati. Rooms were clean and spacious.
The building is old. But the facilities and rooms are well maintained.

LO unico que no me gusta de la habitacion es que el aire acondicionado es algo ruidoso. El restaurante en el piso 9 para desayuno japones esta cerrado sabados y domingos, y no nos avisaron de ese horario con anterioridad

The room was clean, bed was comfortable and 7 eleven was located very close by which was convenient. We didnt get to use the pool or gym but they seemed clean and well maintained.
Upon checkout the housekeeper went up to do a final check of the room and we were told that 2 coat hangers were missing and we had to pay extra. We arrived to the apartment around 9pm after a long day of flying and didnt even unpack due to having an early flight the next morning. We literally went there to sleep for 8 hours and didnt even use the wardrobe or hangers in question. The staff was adamant on making us pay but I refused and told them they could check our luggage for the missing hangers. We were already stressed about the traffic and arriving late to our flight without needing this kind of stress in the morning. After asking for the managers contact number, the staff conceeded to waiving the fee for the lost coat-hangers. I will now be taking photos of our rooms from now on to avoid this kind of scam from hotels. It made the stay stressful and therefore we wont be returning.
The room also didnt have adequate utensils or tools for cooking or cleaning the kitchen. I wouldnt pay extra to stay in the suite even if we were there longer then one night.
We spent one night at this hotel in Manila while waiting for a flight. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and well located. A great option for a short stay in Manila.

The Sphere is probably the best serviced apartment in Makati. The location is perfect -Velasquez Park( Salcedo Park) and Ayala Triangle are 5 minutes away by foot. There are so many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Starbucks and George and Onie's restaurant are both on the ground foot of The Sphere. Two convenience stores ( 711 and Uncle John's ) across and beside the hotel.
My senior citizen parents stayed a total of ten days at The Sphere. Their one bedroom suite definitely was perfect for their needs. Its has been raining for days and I was afraid that my parents will feel bored and anxious. On the contrary, they enjoyed hanging in the spacious living room - my mom happily knitting while watching in their smart TV . Add to that is a well equipped kitchen and dining area. I almost forgot to mention that my Dad spent a lot of time in the hotel's gym doing light exercises.
Most of all I want to commend the staff of The Sphere. They were very accommodating. Always doing their best to satisfy the needs of their guests. From reservations, front desk and house keeping. They provided us with top notch service.
I will definitely book another stay here for my parents. Most likely in December.
We were given an upgrade on arrival so we ended up with a very spacious apartment. It was clean, the bed was comfortable & the shower was hot with good pressure- these are the 3 main things that are 'not negotiable' for me.
The staff were friendly, professional & efficient. I liked that the apartment is located very close to great restaurants, cafes & convenience stores. You are also within walking distance of the shopping district. It was great to receive free drinking water each day.
The air conditioner was a little noisy in our bedroom & I missed having fresh milk. The 'crema' they supply is awful in my opinion but this is a minor issue.
I like the location, all the staffs are nice and friendly, and very professional. The entire hotel is very clean and modern.
Maybe just to put some a little bit of extra barrier in the glass panels just for the small kids protection in case they run into the glass.
