It was conveniently located and easy to get to. It was a great value.
Pros:

I had to depart before breakfast was available.
I appreciated being able to grab a bowl of cold cereal, a banana and bagel.

Cons:

My room was right next to the exit making it very convenient.
But the outer exit door was not secure. It did not seem safe as anyone could walk into the building.

Pros:

This was an amazing hotel—very old school, very 70s, very rural America. I’m sure it will develop a cult following. That aside, it was clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly. By the way, the sausage at breakfast was amazingly good.

Let’s make it a Cornell tradition to go to Cayuga Blu.

Exceptionally friendly staff that wanted to make our stay the best possible. Dining area was comfortable and spacious. All areas were clean and neat.

Awesome hotel, very affordable.
Pros:

The hotel was not too big. The decor was very rustic and old school, which I found to be pretty cool. The room was clean and very cozy. They had a small pool indoors that was available. The breakfast selection was large and very tasty.

Cons:

There were no locks on the outside doors. Most hotels have card entry only doors that are not the main entrance. I found that peculiar.
