Not as good as last year
Pros:

Happy smiling helpful staff.

Cons:

Continental breakfast was no longer laid out. When cooked breakfast was brought to us we were asked if we would like anything else, not the same as being tempted by an array of food.

Apart from the staff the whole experience was disappointing. I would not return
Pros:

The staff are professional and friendly

Cons:

Blocked sink couldn’t was my hands or brush my teeth. Food was worse than a greasy Joe’s cafe. Cheapest of ingredients. Tea, coffee and juice poured before I finished ordering breakfast

Pros:

I booked for my birthday 9-10th June to get away from my home only 10 mikes away. To have access to a bath as the dudabkedbath at the extra care homecwas condemned.. I’ve dated twice before.
The new manager Will is doing very well the pub is busy and the staff are friendly, polite and considerate. In the evening a friend met me fir a birthday meal and my rump Steak was the best I’ve had in 45 years. As my health and mobility issues are problematic I will stay again when I have permission to change my Heamo dialysis days to have a night away and if my budget allows.
NB when I was booking errir occurred site changed dates to July and when I was booking out a cancellation fee was mentioned. I didn’t canx but I wanted MY birthday treat . I have change Dualysus day and ambulance transport days.

Cons:

Repairs to small things in room 2which cost less £10.bukbs abd new cafe nets fir privacy instead turn nets.
Too many promotional things on the bar and pub tabkes. . Less is More.
Coffee machine behind bar last year was very bitter so I refused to buy again this year. On my birthday I like a Tiamaria coffee- it was ruined so I made a sachet instant coffee in my room.

The rooms are outdated, and the furniture looks in disrepair, pealing and broken. I would have low expectations.

Great place, very friendly staff great value
Pros:

Friendly staff especially Jake the assistant manager. I requested a quiet table which they provided, great care to my request to avoid allergens .

The room was great with a good fan in the heat.

Easy car park specifically for hotel guests.

Cons:

Our room was next to the kitchen extractor fan.

Pros:

Location was close to what we needed

Cons:

It was very warm ( but we did visit in a heatwave). & they did provide a fan. The corridors & stairwell could do with a revamp paintwork was tired bathroom was also a bit dated & tired

Friendly staff clean and decent sized room

Cons:

Property in general was fine
Our room however only had two small windows in the roof so the room was boiling, even with the fan running.

Biggest issues was caused by all the corridors being closed off all day and night by the looks of it, granted it’s been very hot over the last few weeks but something needs to be done to get the heat out

Enjoyable. Total acceptance of my dog, a great birthday treat!
Pros:

The garden was an absolute bonus. Good planting to make it feel welcoming. My dog loved it. My granddaughter enjoyed the 'play area' immensely. The staff are a credit to the establishment.

We had a very pleasant stay and thought it excellent value for money. Thank you for an outstanding
Pros:

Our bedroom was very clean and comfortable, but looked like it could do with a little refurbishment.
Dinner and breakfast were excellent with plenty of choice of menus.
The staff were all very friendly, helpful and competent. It was extremely hot and it looked like they had been dealing with a very busy Fathers' Day, but this did not phase them at all.

The location, the friendly staff, the quiet room, good beds

Cons:

The evening meal was very average. Everything (scampi and chips) overcooked.
There was no breakfast buffet - had to order from a limited menu e.g. only natural plain yoghurt available and whole fruit, not a fruit salad
