Pros:

good parking , warn room , good food offered.

Cons:

having to pay for second cup of tea at breakfast . not had that before .

Ideal location for visiting or short stay.
Pros:

Very close to the motorway, large car park, good choice of food on the menu. Room way nice on the ground floor.

Cons:

Had dinner in the restaurant, ordered a mega mix grill, steak was not good , asked for medium rare cooked rare, but received a refund.

A perfect location & a very comfortable bed.
Pros:

Came to stay as it was close & convenient to a party venue we were attending.
Loved we could have late access to our room, even when the pub was shut. It was at an excellent location for our stay- close to the motorway, our party venue, plus dedicated hotel parking at the rear. Loved that the late access was key coded for security.
Room was at the front near a busy main road, however this had no effect on our stay at all. We had a very comfortable nights rest & didn't even notice the road noise. We did notice that when we returned to the pub late on, the road was much quieter than earlier in the afternoon.
Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, plenty of plugs for chargers etc. Room heat to your choice by using the radiator knob. Warm bathroom due to a heated towel rail, all perfect for us. There was a fan if required. Loved the duvet & the choice of pillows. Loved there was a chair to sit on, not just the bed.
Bathroom compact with shower over the bath- didn't use shower so can't comment further.
Visually all looked good.
Kettle with tea, coffee, milk, sugar & decent sized mugs.
Room was clean, however there were some scuff marks from previous use. Coating on desk was coming away- needs redoing. Nothing to spoil our stay, but enough to see the room was getting ready for a refurb. All things were functional & working.
Grubby stains on top of handrail on stairs.
Overall a perfect stay & if ever in the area again would certainly stay here again without a second thought.
Food in the pub- breakfast well cooked & tasty. We did add some seasoning but that was our personal choice- better to add as can't take it off. Perfect amount- especially liked the bacon & eggs.
Evening food was standard pub grub- nothing exceptional but ok & you got what you ordered.

Cons:

Few areas a bit grubby & needed attention but nothing to spoil our stay.
Food in pub on afternoon/evening basic pub grub but that was what we were expecting. What we had was well cooked, no long waits, great service.

Would be improved by installing a lift as stairs to 1st floor rooms quite narrow especially when carrying luggage

Excellent value for money
Pros:

Bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was modern, water hot and nice big towel.Staff very friendly and good service. Excellent value for money.

Cons:

Stairwell was in need of decoration. Very bad. Plug didn't work in bath so had to have a shower instead of a bath.

Pros:

Pros:

The staff were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient
The menus for breakfast; lunch and dinner had a good selection at reasonable prices
The restaurant and bar service was excellent
Good parking on site
Comfortable and clean bedroom with en suite shower
Overall very good value for money

Cons:

Some parts of the accommodation are a "little tired"
The shower pressure was quite low although hot
The stairs to the first floor bedrooms were a little narrow when carrying luggage
A lift would improve the accommodation
