The room smelled
Very musty smelling
Also people and families live in this hotel paid by state
Not something you need to be around on a vacation stay
Only stayed one night
Wasn't included
Where they allow smokers, and the fact that they take in Dss people and others who have been in prison just getting out and how loud it is
No breakfast available. The tub had rust on it.
The bathroom needs an update. The hallway needs an update.
proximity to Corning for Wineglass marathon
Place is a dump, towels looked dirty and there was a long black hair hanging off one of them. Blow dryer was falling of the wall and the outside door in the front did not lock. The fire door slammed shut after each person which you would hear all night long. We were given a room at the back where the long term residents would scream and carry on all night long. There was no maid service and the morning coffee available at the front desk was lukewarm. Considering we paid $524.00 for 3 nights it was a terrible deal.
The front desk staff was good and room was a good size with a large fridge. The positives end there.
We had low expectations being a 2 star motel however the cleanliness of the room was very poor, lacking basic amenities such as coffee maker, cups in the bathroom, basic utensils you would expect with a room advertised as a suite, bedding, pillows, and towels were extremely cheap and uncomfortable. It was extremely noisy 24/7 with doors slamming and noise traveling throughout the rooms.
Some very basic improvements by management could greatly elevate the experience.
Staff is very polite and friendly, that's the only bright piece Room and common areas are shabby and dirty. Few amenities (you have to turn in your towels for new ones). Loud "neighbors" that you hear right through the connecting doors and bathroom vents. We were here for the Wineglass Marathon and didn't sleep much - I guess our fault for not booking sooner.
Said “updated in 2023.” This meant a fresh coat of paint over rusted, broken and cracked walls and doors.
Pet friendly and check in was great. The gentleman that helped me was so kind and welcoming. Thank you
The attendant at the front desk was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Great outside pool
Good food options in walking distance
Staff were friendly, facility was a little dated but overall clean. Layout of the room was akward, having a small bathroom but large room. Also, the fact there is no breakfast option was a drawback. If you get a good rate, then it's worth it.
Need to update the hallways
Access to restaurants and Corning museum.
The bathroom is in desperate need of a cleaning and update.
The receptionist appeared to be on drugs. We did not feel safe-
Enjoyed the outdoor pool and the amazing Mexican restaurant right on the property, the food and drinks were amazing and the prices were great.
It was convenient to the museums and shopping. The Mexican restaurant was to die for and dandy right next to the place
We just needed a place to sleep and this was all it was. It smelled like smoke and wet dog, the doors bang all night, the pillows are completely flat and no extras, the towels were dirty in the bathroom, just was not place i would let my kids stay with me.
My stay was really bad. First of all I didn’t get any actual pillows. I got smaller pillows which are used for couches so I had to go get pillows from the lobby. Then my room was not clean. My bedsheets were dirty and the housekeeping did not give me a fresh set of towels the next day. And then staff there was a bit rude to me. So yea I want compensation for this trip. This was a bad experience.
