Rooms are fine. Basic. Towel bars were falling off the wall. Huge Garbage bags were left in hallways. Air conditioner worked well. Didn’t use pool or hot tub. Outdoor fire pits were nice. S’mores kits available. Game rooms. Location was convenient.
Important to know for families! There is one (1!) small washer/dryer combo machine for the entire hotel!!! Absurd. So, to do one small load of laundry it’s takes a minimum of an hour for the wash and after 1.5 hours of drying, the clothes were damp. So 2.5 hours for one load of damp clothes. And they did not have laundry soap for sale. Referred people to the laundromat nearby.
We loved the pool, game room, fire pits with smores and the friendly staff in the restaurant.
The room was very small with very little lighting.
The air conditioner didn’t work well especially with the drapes blocking the vents.
No desk to write on or set up a laptop.
There is also no fan in the bathroom.
room was great; staff was great; loved the location; loved the lobby and dining area...very spacious.
Muy bonito lugar
La alfombra
Loved the atmosphere and layout of the hotel
Bar closed early
Nothing - we never got to stay there ...
Registration (which is via some silly property management company) was closed when we got there on the Friday - it was the 3rd of July, the day before the big 4th July celebration, and the management team seem to have gone home early. Then they were shut all Saturday, then Sunday and when their phone wasn't answered on the Monday we gave up completely. We spent a fortune on hotels and never even saw the place. APPALLING! We seem to have got our exchange fee back but I can't see that our points have been returned ... I am chasing.
Decent place, wonderful location. Nice touch to have complementary water, coffee, tea, cocoa in the lobby. Towels scratchy.

The restaurant was great and the game room was a hit for our kids. The fire pits were also amazing.
The porter and staff for our room at night was not helpful when we had an issue with the bedding.
We were here for a business meeting for several days. Our room had what we needed and was clean. The lobby area had nice seating available. The lobby also had a flavored water dispenser and coffee area.
There were free bikes to use. A nice indoor pool (nightly movies) and fire pits outside (s’more kits are free at the front desk). The fitness center was a disappointment. Just a two and a half sets of dumbbells, some kettlebells, and cardio equipment. Not much to work with
The location was nice. You could walk into town or to the Visitor Center. There is a free trolley around town.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.
Beautiful views in this comfortable room
Tv Cable was not working, but service man came in and got it working
Location and many amenities including a game room to entertain our kids.
The only complaint we had was walking down to the front desk late one night the gentleman working at the front desk was playing loud rock music which seemed completely out of place and inappropriate.
Staff was excellent. location too'
Bathtub and sink did not drain properly plus curtain by the bed was broken. They did come and fix the plumbing
Clean comfortable and great location for the park
We prepaid for the buffet breakfast and received a slightly lower price. However, in my opinion, the breakfast was horrible. The original price is $17.99. That’s outrageous. Everything else about our stay was fine. I wish we would have eaten breakfast elsewhere.
This was an overnight stay the night before my Wife and I went to Rocky Mountain National Park and it didn't disappoint. Location was perfect and the staff was excellent. The following morning we had breakfast before we headed out and it was fantastic! This location is very close to the Park to be prepared to pay a premium but in my opinion, it was worth it.
My husband and I stayed here 2 nights. If you are expecting updated rooms, you will be disappointed. I will start with the good...
Good
- Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Amenities for children include a game room with video games, pool and s'mores by the file in the evening.
- Location was great, close to everything.
- The lobby is updated, very nice and there is a complimentary Starbucks coffee machine.
Not So Good
- The rooms are VERY outdated with tiny bathrooms with no vanity space.
- No microwave in the room.
- The curtains/shades where falling off of the rails. We used a hanger to clip them together.
- The air conditioner was loud.
- Not a lot of space in the rooms, no chair and very little room.
- Breakfast cost was $18.00. We did not eat the breakfast, there is a McDonalds very close by and we chose to eat there. For the cost of the stay, breakfast should be included as are most hotels these days.
If you are expecting a 4 star hotel, this is not it. It was fine for a couple of nights but not what we were expecting.
The restaurant was nice
We weren’t able to get into our rooms until 1&1/2 after the check in time and we had a wedding to get to. They took off the amenities fee which I don’t think they should have. There weren’t any amenities worth paying for. The grounds were not kept up at all. The view from our room was gross. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
My son enjoyed the game room. Pool area looked fun. We did not use it.
It was a little dated. Lighting was not great in the room. The room seemed small compared to the other Holiday Inn we stayed at on our trip. It was also the most expensive room we had.
