Beds were comfortable and the indoor pool was maintained well.
The restaurant closed two hours early on a Saturday night and the external dining choices are slim in the area. I can understand that for a small bed-and-breakfast, but for a large chain hotel to have that kind of inconsistency of service was really quite annoying. We had had a long day of travel and were looking forward to quiet room service and partly chose the hotel because it was offered in the booking information.

Museums were very close and a lot of restaurants nearby. Hotel location and staff were outstanding! Hotel was clean and safe for a solo traveler. Also, a warm cookie.......who could say No to that homey feeling!!!!!

My initial check on Friday in resulted in being checked in to a room with dirty pillow cases and dried blood on bed at the Doubletree of Jamestown NY. I was switched to another room of course with no compensation. I left my room early the next morning on Saturday at the Doubletree of Jamestown NY with the expectation that it would be cleaned while I was away. Unfortunately, when I returned, the room had not been serviced. I was expecting company, and they arrived to find the room unmade and untidy, which was both embarrassing and disappointing.
Had I been informed at check-in that housekeeping service would not be provided, I could have made other arrangements or adjusted my expectations. Instead, the only service performed was replacing the towels and leaving a note.
I understand that circumstances can affect housekeeping schedules, but clear communication is essential. This experience fell short of my expectations especially for a $417.00 weekend. Very disappointed
This is our second time staying here. The facility is clean and up-to-date, our beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed the staff. Tina who waited on us is a very wonderful woman and handled the entire dining room single handed!
Great hotel. I am always impressed with Doubletree and I’m always impressed with Hilton. The only thing that I wish they could change would be to add the breakfast as complementary.

We had a wonderful experience here. The rooms were very nice, staff was helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful. Tina in the breakfast area is so sweet. A nice little town.

I was very pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It was in the middle of the city, but it was very nice, and I felt safe. It also had a huge swimming pool where I was able to do laps because I had it all to myself! It was also within walking distance of both the Lucille Ball museum and the National Comedy Museum, as well as the Robert H. Jackson mansion. And there were many very cute diners very close by, with great breakfasts. We did not try the breakfast at the DoubleTree but I'm sure it was good as well since it had made to order omelets. This trip was for our 25th anniversary, and it did not disappoint!
