Needs a lot of attention
Pros:

Multiple issues in room needed maintenance most of all an AC unit that was very noisy and would not shut off. Had to unplug it which led to a hot sleepless night. They would not move me citing hotel was sold out which based on the parking lot, was highly doubtful.
Fitness room had no towels or wipes to clean equipment, 1 of 3 treadmills worked, garbage can was overflowing.
Would try elsewhere if you need to stay in area. I’m an Hilton honors member for 20+ years and travel frequently for work. This place is near the top of the list of worst I’ve experienced.

A Hotel in Desperate Need of Room Upgrades
Pros:

We will start with the positive- Good location, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Sal at the front desk was very helpful with a very bad initial impression and getting the maintenance person to come. Kudos to him.
Now to the bad-
1) This hotel and its hallways and rooms are in desparate need of an upgrade. It looks and feels tired and old. The rugs in the rooms are old.
2) When we got in, the first room had no light bulbs in the lamps, the second one as well, by the time we got to the third room it had a lamp with a bulb but it burnt out by day 2. In addition, the handle on the hot water in the bathroom was broken. Sal was able to call the maintenance back in and get it fixed but this is not the standard we expect from any Hilton experience.
3) The USB plugs did not consistently work in the lamps or were very loose.
4) We asked the front desk if we could have a late checkout on Sunday as we had an event at Union College for brunch. He told me he could not accomodate it because the rooms were so full. We ended up checking our bags but when we came back the entire parking lot only had 2 cars in it so I strongly doubt the hotel was completely booked that we could not have checked out 2 hours later.
5) There was a frequent smell of pot in the room
6) The elevator to the second floor was broken where the ice machine was located.

With the new hotels near the casino, I chose this hotel because of its location but would not come here again and would not recommend it to Union people to stay.

No TV & internet?
Pros:

Staying only 1 night after a long day of travel.
Internet went out, so no TV in room, no TV at hotel bar, could not charge my meal to credit card. The most basic amenity is TV. If I knew that I would have no TV, I would have stayed somewhere else, ate somewhere else, etc.
