Centara Reserve Samui

Our wedding at Centara Reserve Samui was nothing short of perfection. Hosting 80 guests, we wanted something truly special and somehow, it exceeded every expectation we had.

The setting alone is breathtaking. Being right on the beachfront lawn created the most magical atmosphere, especially as the sun set and the fairy lights began to glow. It struck the perfect balance between elegance and relaxed island charm, and our guests are still talking about how stunning it all felt.

The food deserves its own mention—it was genuinely the best food we experienced anywhere in Samui. Every course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, and the consistency across 80 guests was incredibly impressive.

What truly set this experience apart, though, was the staff. Every single team member was professional, attentive, and warm. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. You could completely relax and just enjoy the moment, knowing you were in the best hands.

A very special mention has to go to Khai, our wedding planner. He was exceptional. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond, not just as a planner, but as someone who genuinely cared about making our day perfect. His attention to detail, calm presence, and expertise were second to none. By the end of the process, he felt more like a friend than a coordinator. Truly one of the best in the business.

If you’re considering a wedding in Koh Samui, we honestly cannot recommend Centara Reserve highly enough. It delivered a perfect day in every sense and memories that will last a lifetime.

Our stay started off with a bit of a hiccup as our agent, Destination2, had mistakenly booked us into a twin room instead of a king. However, the way the hotel handled the situation completely turned things around.

The Executive Assistant Manager, Andre Kiss, was outstanding. He not only resolved the issue promptly but also kindly upgraded us to a king bed room with a sea view, which made a huge difference to our experience. His professionalism, efficiency, and genuine willingness to help really stood out.

Thank you to Andre and the team for going above and beyond — it made our stay truly enjoyable despite the initial booking error. Highly appreciated and would happily return.

Great luxury Resort on Samui!

This is a wonderful 5-star beachfront resort. The staff are wonderful and attentive to your needs to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The ocean view rooms are stunning over looking the Gulf of Thailand and the landscape of Koh Samui. They are quiet and clean.

The buffet breakfast caters to all palates and tastes. The beach front food and drinks are equally as delicious.

The facilities and grounds are immaculate.

Cantata Reserve was the perfect resort. On arrival Few took us to our sensational ocean view suite. It was a special anniversary trip and she had arranged for flowers, balloons and a cake for us. Such a special way to start our stay. The room was outstanding, perfect view of ocean, free bar and minibar.
The breakfast was an excellent selection of 4 rooms of buffet plus al a carte.
All staff at the pool, restaurant and reception were extremely professional and kind. The grounds of resort were exceptionally maintained.
This was a 10/10 resort and holiday for us.

From the moment we arrived at Centara Reserve Samui, we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive staff. From the reception, we were personally guided around the property and introduced to all the facilities – the level of care truly made a difference.

Our entire stay was pure luxury. Every single day, the food was outstanding – delicious, beautifully prepared, and with so much variety. The surroundings were stunning, peaceful, and the beach was absolutely the best on the entire island – crystal clear water, soft sand, and a perfect atmosphere.

Everything was spot on – the service, the quality, the whole experience exceeded our expectations.

We can’t recommend it enough. If you’re considering Koh Samui, this place is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning beach and excellent hotel. I did so much research when I was planning our trip to Koh Samui and despite all the recommendations from our travel agent recommending chain hotels, big names, this hotel was the one that kept coming back over and over as the one I liked. And it was the best decision I have ever made. It was the most expensive hotel out of our 2 1/2 week vacation in Thailand but it was worth every dollar. The beach is absolutely the best beach along that strip or anywhere. I tend to be a little bit afraid of the water, but it was so crystal clear and warm and beautiful that I would just go in without any hesitation. The breakfast was on a different level fantastic. Highly recommend and if I go back to Koh Samui, this is where I’m staying. Also Joana that took us to our room was the absolute sweetest. We stayed in room 833

The poolside service at the Moud Main Pool was outstanding — always attentive, friendly, and making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. It truly added an extra level of relaxation to our holiday.

A special thank you to the amazing team at the kids’ club — Pop, Praery, and Chompoo. They were incredibly kind, caring, and full of positive energy. They made our child feel happy, safe, and excited to come back every day, which meant so much to us as parents.

The babysitting service was also excellent — professional, trustworthy, and very reassuring. We felt completely at ease, knowing our child was in such good hands.

Absolutely amazing 5 star hotel. This is our 2nd stay here and we will come again. You are made to feel so welcome and are well looked after . The rooms are immaculate huge bed made up of 2 small double beds. The mini bar in the room is free and restricted daily. Unlimited still and sparkling water in your room, with the choice of two different bath robes each amd slippers.
The pool areas are great with lots of loungers. The staff bring you towels to use and keep you topped up with iced water. You can order food and drink to your sunbed or go to the pool bar.
We ate out every night as it's so cheap and to sample the Thai food.
It's easy to get around in the cabs. Do ask and agree the price first.
We were able to have our room until 4pm as we had an evening flight otherwise it's a noon departure.
Breakfast at the hotel - the choice is huge. A buffet with all the usual foods plus items you can made to order. The shashuka was amazing.
There were families holidaying too, with young ones and a couple with a wheelchair. The staff will help with anything you need

However the cleanliness in the room left us very disappointed. When we entered there were lots of mosquitos in the room and cleanliness wasn’t done very good. For the price we paid we expected the room to be clean and taken care of. This was our second stay in Centara, I really hope that when we do return they would’ve done better.

We have been coming back for past 3 years since their reno to Centara Reserve. It has been awesome and wonderful. NEIL Li (GM) has been a consistent factor to make us feel welcome and and I can see that the staff works well together as a team.
Special mention to pool boys Nony, Q and TomCruise for always looking out on our well being and service mindedness. The staff at breakfast was very good even though the hotel seem to be at 100% occupancy. Shout out to Kik , Pui and Quality Manager. And Oliver for fantastic F&B selection for breakfast. We have been blessed by the wonderful sun shine , sea and sand of Chaweng. And excellent service of the Centara Reserve Samui

My son and daughter in law got married here and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Khai and his team looked after us all so well, they work so hard. The attention to detail is amazing and it so good to see the staff take pride in their work. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, comfortable rooms with everything you could wish for. I especially enjoyed breakfast, so much choice! If you can’t find something you like there is something wrong with you!
If you want to want to explore around the hotel there are shops and restaurants outside. The friendly security guy will also help you to cross the road 😂
If I ever return to Koh Samui I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else than here ❤️

Excellent hotel, fabulous staff. Good location on beach. Excellent breakfast lots of choices. Swim up room was amazing with a good size pool. Refreshments in room provided daily. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

one of the best resorts I have ever been, great rooms, humble service and lovely staff, amazing breakfast, water brought to pool and refilled along the hot day, great spa, jet ski rental service, I didn’t know what else to wish for!

I don't have a bad word to say about this hotel!! Everything was perfect!! From the hotel itself which looks like heaven to the amazing employees who work there who always make sure that nothing is missing. Extremely high service awareness. Thanks to the amazing Michelle who took care of us from day one and to the stunning Sandy from the hotel's steakhouse. Crazy breakfast - (for celiacs here there is a gluten-free stand of bread, cereals and cakes). Recommend!!!

Always luxuriously lovely to back in Centara Samui Reserve. Rooms are so well laid out with great comfort for guests and sweeping views of the beautiful gardens, beach and sea.
We love the adults only pool and the gentle care of Noyn and Q, always on hand for iced water top ups.
Food is excellent thank you and they make the best cappuccinos ever.
