Centara Reserve Samui

We had a wonderful stay at Centara Reserve Samui. The hotel territory is absolutely beautiful — very green, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. Every corner of the resort feels luxurious and relaxing.

The restaurants were excellent, with delicious food and great atmosphere. The breakfast was truly outstanding, with a huge variety of fresh and tasty options every morning.

We also really enjoyed the beach, which was clean, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing. The gym was another highlight — modern, spacious, and very well equipped.

What made our stay especially memorable was the incredibly attentive and caring staff. A very special thank you to Few for her kindness and genuine hospitality. She made us feel truly welcome and took great care of us throughout our stay.

We would definitely love to come back again!

We had such a great stay at Centara Koh Samui, and a big thank you to Michelle Tang for making it extra special. She was super responsive and genuinely helpful the whole time, always quick to reply and happy to help with anything we needed. From arranging rides and booking spas to setting up water sports and restaurant reservations, she made everything so easy for us.

You can really tell she cares about the guests. Thanks to her, our trip felt smooth, relaxed, and really memorable. We’re very grateful!

The above named staff deserve additional cash and non-cash awards for their hard work and contributions to make Centara Reserve Samui a great place to stay, eat, and enjoy the scenery.

The negative that I have is that my wife and I felt that there were some inconsistencies during breakfast that involved the service and food but it was taken care of the next day and they were minor issues. The only criticism I would state is the breakfast food can be inconsistent at times. The bakery products were okay on the 1st day, good on the 2nd day, and fairly good on the third day. But this doesn't take away from the hotel experience.

The hotel staff did an awesome job taking care of my wife due to this being our 10-Year Wedding Anniversary and her Birthday trip. They know how to coordinate for events, what products to use and how to treat guests. I was pleasantly surprised with how efficient and friendly the hotel staff were.

The hotel also upgraded our room and provided a deep cleaning before we moved into their Ocean Luxury Room. The ocean views were great and the room was spacious and very comfortable.

Centara Reserve Samui is in the heart of Chaweng and there are many restaurants, massage shops, etc. around area. The views are great and the beach is right outside the hotel. This hotel is a must-visit!

I would like to sincerely thank Michelle for her outstanding service and warm hospitality. She was extremely helpful, attentive, and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Her professionalism and positive attitude truly stood out.

I would also like to commend the resort for its high standards and exceptional quality. My stay at Centara Samui was truly the highlight of my vacation. The atmosphere, facilities, and overall experience were outstanding and made my time there unforgettable. I highly appreciate everything and would be delighted to return again.

My partner and I recently spent eight nights (April 10–18) at the Centara Reserve to celebrate our engagement, and it absolutely delivered. If you're looking for an upmarket, "Hamptons-meets-the-tropics" aesthetic, this is the place. It is incredibly picturesque and worth the money.

The Room & Privacy
We opted for the private pool room, which was impeccably clean and modern. One thing to note is that this is a large establishment and it was quite busy during our stay, so the resort as a whole doesn't necessarily have a highly secluded, private feel. That being said, you can absolutely find privacy where it counts—our room was brilliantly designed so it couldn't be looked into from the outside.

The unlimited minibar is a fantastic perk, but it’s the little touches that really won me over. I asked them to swap out the standard Coke for Coke Zero, and it was done without a moment's hesitation. That frictionless service sets the tone for the whole resort.

Dining & Drinks
The food options are great across the board. Salt Society was a clear standout for us—the food is amazing, and they serve several flavored salts (do yourself a favor and try the smokey salt). The Gin Run, located right off the reception, is a small but incredibly classy cocktail bar. Very up-class with superb execution.

Breakfast was solid, though if I had one minor critique, the number of rotating items felt a little limited over an eight-night stay.

Facilities & Spa
The main pool area is simply amazing. We also took full advantage of the spa. It is unreal, and they run daily promotions on certain treatments which makes it even more appealing. Highly recommend booking a session.

Songkran & Location
Being there during Songkran was a major highlight. The resort hosted a cultural Buddhist blessing on-site; the staff were genuinely eager to explain the traditions and get us involved, which was a really special experience. Afterwards, they threw a fantastic, fun water fight out on the lawn.

Location-wise, to have this level of luxury right on Chaweng Beach Road is unbeatable. You have loads of shops and local restaurants just outside the door, and it’s roughly a 20-minute walk to Central Samui.

Standout Service
A massive call-out to the incredible reception staff for being absolutely awesome. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, including going out of their way to help us sort out a photographer to capture our engagement. Thank you to the whole crew.

100% would go back. Worth every cent and highly recommended.

wow...everything has been absolutely fantastic, the staff were all amazimg and so helpful , the hotel is beautiful, set in amazing grounds on the beach, the food is wonderfully cooked and presented.
Maybe evening time entertainment could be a little livelier.. its a shame, its a beautiful place however goes really quiet in the evenings.
We can't find any fault with this hotel at all. We will be back for sure and as soon as possible.

Centara Reserve is not just a fabulous holiday destination……it’s our happy place. Even before our recent wedding celebration with 80 of our closest people, we’d already fallen in love with the stunning resort, the perfect beachfront and the warmth of every visit and every staff member who continually go above and beyond. Five visits in, we adore it even more. Already counting down the days to our next trip. So many staff members to mention however a special shout out to Sai, Khai, Paul, Bao, Zindy, Few, Yacht, Peter, Kelvin, Neil and PlaPla.

We just spent 14 day at this resort my second time .

Location is fab. Resort is lovely we had a swim out room which kids and I loved. Breakfast was amazing and staff were so lovely

We recently returned from a family stay at Centara Reserve Samui, and it truly deserves its 5-star reputation. What stood out the most was how proactive the management is. After our first day, I filled out a feedback survey mentioning a broken handle on the bathroom door. By the time we returned that evening, not only was it fixed, but they had also left a lovely fruit platter as a gesture of apology. That’s how you handle guest relations!

Another example of their top-tier service: my son had a very early flight at 6:00 AM. When he went to the lobby at 4:30 AM, the team already had a breakfast box waiting for him, including a fresh cappuccino. It’s these small touches that make a huge difference. A special thank you to Sao at the front desk, who was consistently brilliant and made us feel so welcome.

The resort itself is stunning, and the spa is easily one of the best we’ve ever experienced—massages were world-class.

I do have two small points for improvement:
Pool Safety: In the main pool near the bar, the steps inside the water aren’t clearly marked. I actually slipped into the deeper section a couple of times because I couldn't see where the ledge was. Some marking on the edges would be a great safety upgrade.
Housekeeping: For the first two days, the room wasn't cleaned until after 4:00 PM, which was a bit late for our schedule.

Regardless of these minor issues, the overall experience was fantastic. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel to any family looking for luxury and great service in Samui.

Our wedding at Centara Reserve Samui was nothing short of perfection. Hosting 80 guests, we wanted something truly special and somehow, it exceeded every expectation we had.

The setting alone is breathtaking. Being right on the beachfront lawn created the most magical atmosphere, especially as the sun set and the fairy lights began to glow. It struck the perfect balance between elegance and relaxed island charm, and our guests are still talking about how stunning it all felt.

The food deserves its own mention—it was genuinely the best food we experienced anywhere in Samui. Every course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, and the consistency across 80 guests was incredibly impressive.

What truly set this experience apart, though, was the staff. Every single team member was professional, attentive, and warm. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. You could completely relax and just enjoy the moment, knowing you were in the best hands.

A very special mention has to go to Khai, our wedding planner. He was exceptional. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond, not just as a planner, but as someone who genuinely cared about making our day perfect. His attention to detail, calm presence, and expertise were second to none. By the end of the process, he felt more like a friend than a coordinator. Truly one of the best in the business.

If you’re considering a wedding in Koh Samui, we honestly cannot recommend Centara Reserve highly enough. It delivered a perfect day in every sense and memories that will last a lifetime.

Our stay started off with a bit of a hiccup as our agent, Destination2, had mistakenly booked us into a twin room instead of a king. However, the way the hotel handled the situation completely turned things around.

The Executive Assistant Manager, Andre Kiss, was outstanding. He not only resolved the issue promptly but also kindly upgraded us to a king bed room with a sea view, which made a huge difference to our experience. His professionalism, efficiency, and genuine willingness to help really stood out.

Thank you to Andre and the team for going above and beyond — it made our stay truly enjoyable despite the initial booking error. Highly appreciated and would happily return.

Great luxury Resort on Samui!

This is a wonderful 5-star beachfront resort. The staff are wonderful and attentive to your needs to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The ocean view rooms are stunning over looking the Gulf of Thailand and the landscape of Koh Samui. They are quiet and clean.

The buffet breakfast caters to all palates and tastes. The beach front food and drinks are equally as delicious.

The facilities and grounds are immaculate.

Cantata Reserve was the perfect resort. On arrival Few took us to our sensational ocean view suite. It was a special anniversary trip and she had arranged for flowers, balloons and a cake for us. Such a special way to start our stay. The room was outstanding, perfect view of ocean, free bar and minibar.
The breakfast was an excellent selection of 4 rooms of buffet plus al a carte.
All staff at the pool, restaurant and reception were extremely professional and kind. The grounds of resort were exceptionally maintained.
This was a 10/10 resort and holiday for us.

From the moment we arrived at Centara Reserve Samui, we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive staff. From the reception, we were personally guided around the property and introduced to all the facilities – the level of care truly made a difference.

Our entire stay was pure luxury. Every single day, the food was outstanding – delicious, beautifully prepared, and with so much variety. The surroundings were stunning, peaceful, and the beach was absolutely the best on the entire island – crystal clear water, soft sand, and a perfect atmosphere.

Everything was spot on – the service, the quality, the whole experience exceeded our expectations.

We can’t recommend it enough. If you’re considering Koh Samui, this place is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning beach and excellent hotel. I did so much research when I was planning our trip to Koh Samui and despite all the recommendations from our travel agent recommending chain hotels, big names, this hotel was the one that kept coming back over and over as the one I liked. And it was the best decision I have ever made. It was the most expensive hotel out of our 2 1/2 week vacation in Thailand but it was worth every dollar. The beach is absolutely the best beach along that strip or anywhere. I tend to be a little bit afraid of the water, but it was so crystal clear and warm and beautiful that I would just go in without any hesitation. The breakfast was on a different level fantastic. Highly recommend and if I go back to Koh Samui, this is where I’m staying. Also Joana that took us to our room was the absolute sweetest. We stayed in room 833

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and can’t recommend this place enough!

The poolside service at the Moud Main Pool was outstanding — always attentive, friendly, and making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. It truly added an extra level of relaxation to our holiday.

A special thank you to the amazing team at the kids’ club — Pop, Praery, and Chompoo. They were incredibly kind, caring, and full of positive energy. They made our child feel happy, safe, and excited to come back every day, which meant so much to us as parents.

The babysitting service was also excellent — professional, trustworthy, and very reassuring. We felt completely at ease, knowing our child was in such good hands.
