The room was beautiful, the hotel was clean, staff was helpful and friendly.
Pros:

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Loved the pool, gym, and laundry was convenient. Hotel also offers shuttle services back and forth from the hotel to local attractions.

Cons:

Breakfast was expensive and not inclusive.

Location was ideal for visiting downtown Tampa and Riverwalk. Free shuttle service was nice!!

Our stay was tolerated because of the Riverwalk, we will not to stay at the Barrymore Hotel again!
Pros:

Breakfast was not had but we did have lunch/dinner items. The pizza was not as tasty as we would have liked. The chicken wings were only okay, they were a little on the tough side which made think they may have either not fully done or had been cooked too fast.

Cons:

The rooms were very outdated, smelled old and like mold & mildew (as soon as we entered). The furnishings/furniture (including the bed) was very old and very outdated! There was no closet or safe for our valuables during our stay. The internet service was spotty throughout our stay. Upon entering the Hotel lobby there was water leaking from both sides of the lobby doors. This hotel was chosen only because it boasts of being on/near the Tampa Riverwalk.

Would stay again. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Pros:

The location was perfect. Close to Riverwalk and right across the street from the Straz Center where we going for an exhibit. They have a free shuttle also.

Cons:

Didn’t like that parking was extra

Nice location and price point for shows and events.
Pros:

Great location for concerts and shows (with free shuttle service to the arena). Super happy hour (one of the best I’ve seen). Friendly staff and decent rooms and located right on the Riverwalk. Good price for the location. We’ll visit again for shows and other events.

Comfortable beds, location is wonderful and hospitality great, as always. This is why we keep returning

The restaurant changed the menu, it is a downgrade in quality, we felt we sat down at a restaurant to eat fast food. I never found fried calamari I did not like, until now. We ordered a Margherita pizza due to no other options seemed appealing to us, and even that pizza was not a proper Margherita. The delicious quinoa salad is no longer on the menu….. the service was great, and so were the Old Fashioned and the Margarita, they were really good!
