The location was great. Breakfast was a good deal and appetizing.

The front desk manager is ignoring my attempts on getting information about my case.
For two days I had to stay away from my room for four hours for water repairs to be done.
There was no apology, I was inconvenienced by mot having my room available.
Close to Riverwalk and cruise port
Cannot beat the location to the University of Tampa unless you are on campus! Fourth year staying here for volleyball camps. We choose to stay at the Barrymore because of location, parking, and laundry facilities. We enjoy the Barrymore's location to the university, river, and armature; reasonable parking fee, and clean laundry facilities and hotel public spaces. Staff are also very friendly and efficient at their jobs.
Spotlessly clean, comfortable, great area & loved the fact that they had a shuttle to take us to the cruise terminal
Cannot complain about anything
Do not book this hotel! I booked it last minute for a tampa university tour because of its location and while the location is in fact great the place gave me a room with NO HOT WATER AT ALL! Seriously not a shot and no response on a fix! Complained at 3pm and got told this happens sometimes and they are waiting on a plummer. I went downtown and stayed out from 4pm-10pm and nobody fixed anything. Just a poorly run budget hotel that is actually overpriced!
