We got keys and walked out and checked out 1 hour later. Didn’t even stay the rooms were dirty the hotel photos online IS not what you get
My stay was below average. The room I was in looked cleanly at first sight, but everything got ruined when a bug crawled on me when I was laying in bed. Immediately after I squashed the bug, there was another one on the night stand. I had to sweep the room to make sure there weren’t anymore. There were three more occurrences where I saw a bug crawling around the room. Ruined my whole experience.
Night check in guy was really nice; day girl was on personal phone call whole time. Drivers both were nice. No breakfast; elevator didn’t work coming down from floors. Room was ok, but bathroom paint chipping and peeling, wall heating unit was noisy. Hallway carpet very dirty. IHOP very close, but it to is dirty and several homeless outside around in area.
For starters, they advertised breakfast and there was no breakfast. I saw roaches in my room. The elevator didn't work on the 2nd floor. I can go on but I'll stop there.
I had no hot water.
Was obviously under renovation or something. Reservations were for Ramada Plaza but had to check inn at Clarion. Everything looked old. Bed was comfortable. Staff seemed very indifferent like it was a chore to serve the customer.
Overall terrible stay. Room keys didn’t work, hot water out in some rooms, property area looks like it’s under construction even though it’s not, elevators getting stuck and not opening on your floor, only 1 staff member and 1 maintenance man on shift. I never received a room key and had to be escorted to my room to be let on each time. I saw several guests complain about keys not working. My room was clean, however the front desk never alerted me that I have to request room service so my room was never cleaned or stocked with clean towels. It truly was ridiculous.
Fresh blood drop on tub. I've live in Charlotte since 1998 and haven't seen this many roaches anywhere ever. Asked for 10am wake up call. Didn't get it. Didn't need it because I was awaken by housekeeping beating on both adjacent room walls and laughing making sex noises. I assume they were my wake up call. Couldn't take it no more called front desk. Next morning they came to my door and said something in Spanish and laughed then ran. Most horrible hotel experience with the exception of lady at checkin and the night guy..
We had a layover so we needed a cheap room close to the airport with a free shuttle. And this place checked all them boxes. It is an older place that needs major renovations in which it looked like they were in the process of doing.. might want to keep your eye out for bugs
Bad customer service .not welcoming at all cold booded
door does not open - 2 times. Dirty, I booked hotel with breakfast, and there was no breakfast except a below sub standard coffee. Staff were rude.
Hi, my Neice read the reviews and ended up choosing a different hotel after it already paid for this one. She thought that it was unsafe.
Scam. I rented in Ramada Plaza hotel and they gave me a room in another hotel, that the quality was really worse. They didn’t have breakfast, later check out neither. They don’t give you solutions. Bad, super bad!
An old facility without any recent updates. Absolutely no frills. I had no maid service during my 3 night stay, despite asking for it. Room key had to be reprogrammed 3 times. One morning, no one was working at front desk. I was told only one person was working in the whole two hotel complex. I won't stay here again.
The stay was nice the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. For the most part it was clean however the washcloth had black on it like it had been used on makeup.
The telephone in the room did not work, and the bedside lamp did not work either. I checked, both were plugged in.
Found a cockroach in the bathroom running around, had to send it on to little cockroach heaven.
After the Cockroach was found, took both mattresses off of the bed and checked every nook and cranny for bed bugs, and found none.
The lady at check-in was very nice.

Out of all m my 10 years of using hotels.com, this place was by far the absolute worst. It was so dirty, rusted, modly, dusty, and the bed sheets were dirty. This establishment should be shut down immediately. Guest services was not responsive when i asked for extra pillows. It was beyond neglectful and gross
Overall, it was an ok stay. Especially considering the cost. But, the morning we got there we wanted an early check in. We were told we needed to wait for the manager, for an hour. We waited, and after the hour she was additionally 40 minutes late to work. We asked the manager for an early check in and she told us to wait and have a seat. She proceeded to do random tasks, such as refilling cups, for another hour. And only then gave us an early check in. It was…. Bizarre and truly unacceptable.
