Pros:

The rooms and the hotel was fine. The hospitality at the front desk was okay however my card that I reserved the room with was charged along with the card used and now they are not going to return my money until a month later. They placed it on hold even though I paid with another card so that's awful. As well as trying to get room cleaning, towels, etc. Well good luck, they'll never have time for you . As far as the location, do not go outside past 8:00 p.m. we tried to go pick up little items at the nearby 7-Eleven and we ran out of there so fast. That place is dangerous.

Pros:

I was very disappointed in the front desk attendant attitude and unprofessional way in which she spoke to me during my check-in process, as if i was bothering her. She did not make me feel welcome there. Other than that, the breakfast was okay. The location is convenient for travelers due to the airport being directly across the street, highway in the vicinity, and stores and restaurants nearby. But overall, I'd give it a C-.

Nice stay except for one weird thing...
Pros:

Good location, cleaning and kitchen staff were absolutely lovely. Excellent breakfast for the level of hotel.

Cons:

Due to changes in itinerary I ended up booking three nights as separate bookings. Called ahead, was told it would be no problem to sort once I arrived so that I could stay in same room all three nights. Arrived and reception staff had some trouble working it out but then told me it was fine. Second night about 9pm I was asleep (jet lag), heard people enter my room and say "Oh! It looks like someone is already here!" Different reception staff had rebooked my room to other people and given them keys. I called reception, desk staff told me it was my fault for not paying an additional "fee." I said there were no additional fees in my reservation confirmation and at check-in was told everything was fine. She insisted I come to reservation desk. Turns out they needed to rescan my credit card as separate deposits for the subsequent days, hadn't told me. Desk person insisted this is how their system works for the multiple bookings, as though I was meant to be familiar with their software. No apology. Somebody obviously needs more staff training. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Location was convenient.

Cons:

Room 109! This is a ground floor room near an exit door, food prep area, etc. Room 107, next door, is the closest to the front desk, and I'm fairly certain it had overnight hotel staff hanging out in the room. They were talking loudly, and we could hear them very easily.. We finally called at 3 am because we could not sleep due to the noise. This should be a room of last resort. Not sure what I did to piss off the front desk staff to get assigned that crappy room.

Great place for a layover in Richmond.
Pros:

Great location to the airport. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower. Staff was accommodating our very late check in and request for a late check out (check out is 11am NOT noon)

Cons:

It is dated and suffers from what most USA hotels suffer from - a lot of money for what you get. But for a single night rest it is very good.

The hotel was exceptional in many ways. The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with plenty of towels. The workout room has great treadmills and a wide assortment of dumbbells. The breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel. Typical waffle machine. Cereal with Silk Oat milk. Toppings available with granola. Flax seeds. Pumpkin seeds, walnut halves. Coconut flakes. Craisins, and more. Cage free scrambled eggs fresh cooked. Spinach kiesch. Turkey sausage, and bacon. A variety bagel bar. Fruit. Juice. It was nice. The area was very clean. Cleaning lady was very nice.

Cons:

The indoor pool. Which I had planned on relaxing in for several hours was closed. This is why I booked this hotel. Totally ticked me off. I am so tired of indoor pools being closed at hotels. I stayed in my room watching John Wick #4. A total waste of my time. I was trying to get some water breathing exercises at the pool as part of my training. Ruined the purpose of me choosing this hotel. The work desk in the room is under a wall mounted TV. There is no light to see at the work desk. Room 400.
