A great location with warm and attentive service.
Pros:

Great location and exceptionally kind staff, especially Apisit. He was attentive, helpful, and genuinely made me feel heard and well cared for.

Cons:

The bed was not particularly comfortable, and the TV channels were almost exclusively in Norwegian. This was quite disappointing, especially considering the hotel has a very international clientele. The only English-language channel available was Al Jazeera, which I found surprising given the wide range of international channels available nowadays. It would also be a great improvement to offer access to streaming platforms such as Netflix or Amazon Prime, allowing guests with their own subscriptions to log in and enjoy their preferred content.

Great hotel with fantastic breakfast
Pros:

The hotel is right in the middle of the city center, close to everything, and connected to a good restaurant (Egon) with decent prices. Very kind and friendly staff. Spacious, bright and very clean room. Comfortable bed, many sockets; iron with ironing board. Poor lighting in the room, but there were lighting fixtures at the desk and at the head of the bed. Good Wi-Fi. 2 elevators. Excellent breakfast, with many options for all tastes and with a packed lunch offer on request. Delicious coffee. Complimentary coffee and water in the lobby.

Sehr zentral, man erreicht alles zu Fuß und das Parkhaus ist praktisch gleich nebenan.
Sehr gutes Frühstück, wenn auch die Nutzung der speziellen Kaffeemaschinen für viele Gäste eine Herausforderung war.

Cons:

Durch die zentrale Lage sind die Zimmer nach vorne sehr, sehr laut, jeden Morgen wird irgendwas geliefert.
Dadurch, dass es zwei Häuser sind, die verwinkelt verbunden sind, sind die Zimmer insgesamt sehr unterschiedlich, daher kann ich mir vorstellen, dass es auch sehr schöne Zimmer gibt. Bei uns hat das nicht geklappt, vielleicht weil wir über Booking gebucht haben?
Das als „Doppelbett-Standardzimmer" angebotene Zimmer entsprach nicht der Beschreibung: Das Bett war nur einseitig nutzbar, es fehlten Nachtkästchen, Licht und Steckdosen. Die Fotos auf Booking hatten mit dem tatsächlichen Zimmer nichts zu tun. Für fast 300 € eine Frecheit.
Die einzige angebotene Alternative lag unterm Dach, also mit Dachschräge und nur Dachfenster, dazu im Juli sehr heiß. Trotz sichtbarer anderer Optionen auf Booking behauptete die Rezeption, es gäbe keine weiteren Zimmer.
Das Zimmer war durchaus zusätzlich etwas kleiner als die übrigen, die Kopfkissen rochen stark nach Schweiß, und selbst nach Gesprächen mit vier Mitarbeitenden fand man keine Lösung. Sehr schade. Bild des Grundrisses habe ich beigefügt.

Great location and comfortable stay
Pros:

I had a pleasant stay at Thon Hotel Bristol Bergen. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was nice, and the location was perfect for exploring Bergen.

There were a few things that could be improved. I would have appreciated more cupboard/storage space and a better selection of toiletries, as only shampoo and hand wash were provided. The bed also moved around quite easily. I also found the duvet far too warm and not very breathable, which made sleeping uncomfortable.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.

Highly recommend this hotel, particularly if you don’t have a car.
Pros:

Great location!! Two min walk to light rail and very close to wharf area and funicular. An excellent breakfast and super helpful staff.

Cons:

Street was a bit noisy if window open at night
