The receptionist was very helpful and very polite.
Dirty dishes left near water machine, the breakfast was overcooked and the egg was well I can't explain it.
Location and ease of use.
They did email me to say that the fully accessible room was not available, but gave a room that was very acceptable.
I chose this hotel because of its good reputation and central location. Many places in Swansea are within walking distance, so I did not need a car. The woman at reception was also very kind and tried to help me with my luggage.
I was surprised that there was no luggage assistance. My main disappointment was the housekeeping. On two days, I left in the morning and returned in the evening to find that my room had not been cleaned or tidied. I raised this with the staff, but it affected my stay. I had hoped to extend my booking, but I decided to stay somewhere else instead. I hope the hotel gives more attention to cleanliness and room service, as it has a good reputation.

Shower/Bath plug had mass of dark long hair, we didn't use it as so disgusting.
When we arrived back from the venue, there were kids in the carpark, it was scary.
The hotel doors were open and anyone could walk in.
Left at 5.30am to go to work, no one at reception then walked out of open hotel doors, no security on site, homeless people in carpark, made it a scary place to get to your car.
Would never stay there again.
We were very impressed with this hotel that gives that little bit extra makes a big difference, the staff were so friendly and polite especially the lady in the breakfast room she was so warm and welcoming the breakfast was of good quality and lots to choose from delicious greek yogurt even smoked salmon! the rooms were lovely and bed very comfortable a lovely base near the new arena.

Our room was comfortable and clean.
Unfortunately, the restaurant & reception staff had to deal with an unpleasant bullying guest which they did well although it brought one of the staff to tears. My wife thought better of stepping in at the time but she consoled the staff and showed her support afterwards. If it had been me I think I'd have had the guest evicted from the hotel but that would likely to have inflamed things more.
I ate dinner in the hotel for all my stay. Food excellent and a reasonable choice. Staff were all great in the restaurant, on reception, the housekeeping also as was the maintenance man for various non working lights
Room ok but the window leaked badly even though appeared closed. They had to use a bath towel to stem the flow
It’s convenient to everything especially if your going to see a show in the Swansea Arena, literally a 5 min walk (I timed it)
The staff are always friendly and breakfast is excellent with a really good choice of fresh food
The only slight negative is the bathroom toilet which was some reason doesn’t flush straight away and you have to to flush it several times. We have found this happening on several times we’ve stayed here. Apart from this issue everything else in the bathrooms are great

Cooked breakfast could have been kept hotter. Lids on containers were very heavy so difficult to help yourself. Otherwise plenty of choice for breakfast
