Angel is not suited as an AFOM. Lacks all customer service skills

Arrived at the hotel at 1015pm after our flight from Miami was delayed 5 hrs. I pre warned the hotel that I had a service dog. All of the necessary documents. Upon arriving at the hotel. A man after some time finally asks how can I help you. I said. I’d like to check in please. Handed him my ID and CC. My husband walked in with our service dog and suitcases while I was checking in. Angel rudely said it will be $70-$75 for dog. I explained it was a service animal. He asked what service it provided which I was taken back with. I replied. I never been asked that question and fly with him all the time. I didn’t really want him to know that my dog is able to grab my inhaler. As I suffer with extreme asthma. So I told angel. He supports me. Angel with a grin and cocky attitude said… it will be $75. Again I explained it was service dog. I have a binder with his papers. He refused to acknowledge them. I whispered that he helps me before an asthma attack comes on. He laughed in my face. After 9 hours of traveling I didn’t have the energy to fight with him. I told to cancel the room. Not about the money. Because I felt zero empathy from him. He laughed in my face. So we got in the car I called booking.com who was wonderful. They told me to go back to the hotel and show them the papers. Well let’s just say Angel became ruder. I don’t want to see the papers it’s $70. I told him I had booking.com on the phone. After standing in the lobby another 50 min Booking.com found us another location minutes away. The following day we were at the airport by 7am to catch our flight to miami. Your customer service agent Eduardo C. Could not have done anymore to help calm us down. He was wonderful.

Pros:

Zwei große betten. das bad war sauber. Nettes und hilfreiches personal.

Cons:

Keine richtige bade zimmer tür, sondern nur eine schiebe tür. Und ich fand’s bisschen schade dass da keine mini bar war sondern nur zwei überteuerte evian flaschen. Und halt dass man runter gehen musste um die flasche aufzufüllen.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Room clean and bed comfortable.

Cons:

The restaurant bar tender was not very nice when we asked what time restaurant closed he said 9:45 it was 9:40pm when we asked, we were told they closed 10pm

They charged me extra fee for nothing. My checked in and out were on time. Didn’t eat or drink simply just stay. I’ve been asking them to send me invoice, however, they never send me one
