Clarion Hotel San Angelo near Convention Center

It was clean enough. The front desk staff and maintenance were pleasant and attentive. The AC worked well.

However the beds were not really comfortable. Breakfast was only okay. The microwave didn't work. The refrigerator didn't have a temperature control and froze out food/drinks (one actually burst). The Housekeeping signs said the room would be cleaned every 3 days, however in the 7 nights we stayed, it was cleaned once. We asked and confirmed we would receive a second cleaning, but this did not occur.

Room was clean beds made great and comfy everything was great 😊 definitely will stay again

Ok in general but food not good breakfast area don’t have coffee you need to go to the reception area to get coffee the return to breakfast area that’s I never seen nowhere

Safe! My remote needed batteries and I called the front desk he sent someone to me within 5 minutes. The maintenance guy changed the batteries and made sure my tv was working before leaving. I enjoyed my stay. Maybe adding fruit to the breakfast or turkey or chicken sausage would be great to have for healthy eaters.

Front staff was VERY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, ARGUMENTATIVE AND A LIAR! She shouldn't be working in hospitality. My room's werent ready at 4 pm when check in is at 4. I requested connecting rooms so thats why they werent ready. The lady told me to give them another 30 minute's, meanwhile the fire alarm went off so we just left. When hotels.com asked them for some sort of reimbursement due to the rooms not being ready they lied and said it was our fault because of a deposit issue. (If your a local they charge you $200 a room, cash only) Also the rooms werent even connecting just side by side and the room I slept in had a connecting room. They do everything but make you feel welcome. One of the rooms still had trash in the restroom and hair in she shower. At this point I wasn't going to say anything because they already made me feel like i was the bad guy for speaking facts and telling them they were wrong and they had $400 cash that I wanted back at check out. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAYING THERE!

We stayed at this hotel for many years and under many names to be honest. But this is the first time we've been here in the last year and I am shocked at the cleanliness decline. It used to be that you would walk around the lobby towards the restaurant and the breakfast area and it was immaculate. Super clean, lots of people saying hello to you that worked on the property, and this time it was different. It was really dirty, it looked like a floor hadn't been swept in a few days. While we were there the swimming pool was closed part of the time due to equipment issues. It just feels like the general maintenance of the property has become not a priority for Clarion or the new owners of the hotel. And service has gone way down, they've stopped accepting pets which is a big thing for me which is why I picked this hotel on the regular. And I'm just very disappointed.

Everything good

The property and location are great, but the only issue I had was that the bathroom floor was Oily and Slippery and I had to watch my step not to slip and fall. I've stayed there before and did not have that issue in another room. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to come back for another stay.

Everything was perfect about this hotel. The only thing that wasn't up to par is the A.C. It seems lately no one has any focus on fixing these loud A.C.'s that are outdated or in poor condition.

I had to go to my truck and grab some ear plugs in order to sleep with the loud noise plus it never shut off. Therefore it told me it was broke or in poor condition.
