When the kids say "Let's go stay in a hotel for the weekend and swim and play in the Arcade,' know EXACTLY what Hotel they're referring to.
The Red Lion Hotel. I can't say enough good things about this place. The super clean environment, the absolute amazing and helpful, friendly staff, the awesome and SPOTLESSLY CLEAN rooms, the pool and of course the Arcade.
I want to say a special thanks to Randy (General Manager) for always reaching out to make sure our stay was as flawless as the time before and Jon who does the same.
I love that a simple google search takes you straight to their page and you can book through Booking.com and actually call the hotel directly and speak to someone there.
One time when they were completely booked, we tried another local hotel and it was a nightmare going to a national system that does not allow you to get in direct contact with the hotel. The experience was 1/5 stars. For this reason alone but not limited to, we will alway be very satisfied and repeat customers of The Red Lion Hotel.
If it could give them 10 stars I couldn't even hesitate so again. Thank you staff and thank you Red Lion. See y'all again soon.

Our recent stay at the Red Lion Hotel Harrisburg Hershey was fantastic! From the moment we checked in, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff, particularly at the front desk and sales office, were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to settle in quickly.

This property is packed with things to do. While the outdoor pool was not yet open for the season, the indoor pool was well-maintained and a huge hit. The property also has an arcade and a playground, making it an excellent choice for anyone traveling with a family.

Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Having a mini-fridge and microwave in the room was a major convenience for snacks and quick meals.

On-site catering and dining include various private banquet rooms and restaurants. The staff were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. Will definitely make use of the catering facilities again in the future.

Regarding location, it’s only a short drive to various local attractions and very close to the Harrisburg International Airport.

If you are looking for a hotel that balances comfort, fun, and convenience, this is it. Between the friendly service and the extensive recreational facilities, it truly felt like a resort experience right in Harrisburg. We will definitely be booking here again for our next trip to the area!

The beds were comfortable, the pool, and outdoor area was well taken care of.

I had a wonderful five-star stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing, and the indoor pool and gym were clean and well-kept. The room was very comfortable, with adjustable AC/heat, clean linens, and plenty of fluffy pillows. Extra toiletries were a nice touch. I’d definitely stay here again.

We stay at the Harrisburg Hershey Red Lion Hotel every year, and it’s always a great experience. The hot tub and pool are clean and relaxing, the beds are comfortable, and the atmosphere feels very safe and welcoming. The staff is friendly and always willing to help with anything you need. We look forward to coming back each year!

We’ve been coming here twice a year, every year, and it truly feels like a home away from home. The hotel is always spotless everything from the rooms to the common areas is kept incredibly clean and well cared for.

What really stands out is the staff. They are consistently warm, attentive, and go out of their way to make sure every stay is comfortable and relaxing. It makes such a difference knowing you’re genuinely welcomed each time you return.

The location is perfect it is close to everything you might need, yet still peaceful enough to unwind. The pool and hot tub are always clean and inviting, and the rooms are comfortable, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up.

We look forward to every visit and can’t recommend this place enough. It’s become a special tradition for our family, and we’re already excited for our next stay!
