It was renovated
It’s not very fancy
Very clean, rooms were very up to date
There weren’t any vending machines and the kitchen closes super early. Had to leave the property for food.
It was nice the outside does not look as good as the inside. The rooms are nice but our bathroom toilet squeaked so loud and long
Our toilet was so loud and they did no have breakfast. Which was stated they did
The location. It is close to everything.
The smells. It smelled everywhere. Parking lot was run down and full of potholes. Not all of the lights in the parking lot were working.
Nothing at all
Breakfast was very limited
Everything....staff at the front desk were not friendly or helpful.
Requested a handicap room for my 92 year old mother, was told they don't have handicap rooms, the room they gave us was supposed to be handicapped according to staff because it was bigger than other rooms and had a walk in shower. However there was no bar for my mom to hold on to when going to the bathroom.
There was no hand soap in the room, went to front desk and they gave us a very small bottle of shower gel. Hardly any soap or shampoo in the shower.
No light bulbs in the lamp. Couldn't control the temperature in the room, was 79 degrees. Had to pay for coffee in the room if you wanted it...ridiculous! The outside door was supposed to be entered only with your key, however it was unlocked all the time. Didn't make us feel safe. Everything about the stay was terrible
Avoid this hotel at all costs. It is old and in terrible shape. I went to the front desk and waited ten minutes for someone to appear. Finally I walked back behind the desk and found someone who seemed to be bothered to help me. I was given a room on the 6th floor and took the very tired elevator to get there. I've been trying to get the ac to stop running but nothing will turn it off. I've been a Hilton member for over 30 years and I have never stayed at one of their hotels that was in such bad shape. Better to stay at the Hampton inn next door.
It was close to the casino.
We checked in no one told us where to park and get in the building by the elevator we had to walk away with all our luggage no carts. Got to our room it was stuffy put the air on and we left came back a few hours later and it went to 78 in the room. Called to the front desk from our cell phones because the room phones were out of order. Let them know about the air, hour later no one we went to the front desk he had a little slip of paper about our air not working he never seen well almost midnight before we got in our room, they had no rooms to move us so we sat in the lounge till it got fixed. We felt unsafe outside doors were not locked down( side doors). There were a few ladies that did not belong there( pretty sure prostitutes. We register towels we had to go get them. No microwave to heat anything up. I would never stay here again and if you have kids I wouldn’t stay there. I should not have to pay for the 1st night there since didn’t get in till after midnight
The bed and bathroom were ok.
Hardly any ice machines worked, I had to go to 3 different floors to get ice.
No garbage bags. When asking for them, I was told that they don’t supply them!??
No tissue in the box.
The phone didn’t work
Went to get coffee at the lobby area. The garbage can was overflowing onto the floor!
Will not stay again. Very disappointed!!
Location was awesome to the casino and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean.Outside pool was large with plenty of lounge chairs and seating.
When I booked the room they asked for an estimated arrival time. I chose 1P-2P. When I arrived, front desk told us our room would not be available til 2:30 or 3:00. I asked if we could swim until room was ready, they said no. Driveway area needs work, potholes.
Did not have breakfast at the hotel. We were very pleased with our stay.
Great place
I wanted to take the time to share our incredible experience holding our wedding this past weekend at the DoubleTree at 340 Racetrack Road Washington, PA 15301. If you are planning an event, I highly encourage you to read our story!
We threw the team a massive curveball by calling them at the absolute last minute—on June 4th, just 22 days before our wedding date.
Despite the tight timeline, they immediately connected us with Gretchen, the Director of Sales, and the magic began.
Planning in Just Two Weeks
Gretchen quickly scheduled a meeting to hear what we had in mind, and fortunately, they had a beautiful small banquet room available. During that initial meeting, we also met Justin, the Banquet Manager, who was right there alongside Gretchen to answer every single question that popped up.
Gretchen took the time to truly listen to our story and understand the vibe of our guest list. She effortlessly walked us through:
Picking out the perfect menu
Creating a seamless timeline for the big day
Keeping us updated constantly while checking in to see if we needed anything
Friday, the day before the BIG DAY!
We and several of our guests checked in for the entire weekend, and we were welcomed with open arms. The entire staff congratulated us and constantly offered their assistance.
After settling into our rooms, we headed to the pool area—which was incredibly serene, relaxing, and the perfect spot to unwind with our guests. While poolside, John from Maintenance introduced himself. Every single time he saw us throughout the weekend, his jovial personality and 5-star customer service made us feel like the ultimate guests of honor.
The Big Day: "The Best Wedding Food Ever!"
Suddenly, the big day was here! Gretchen and Taylor were waiting for us right in the event room, ready to jump in and assist with any last-minute details.
Our guests could not stop talking about how "just perfect" everything was, emphasizing the top-tier hospitality and the incredible buffet. To quote our guests directly: "This is the BEST WEDDING FOOD EVER!!!"
A huge shout-out to Tammy - our personal bartender for the evening and the Chef and the kitchen team! The presentation was an absolute jaw-dropper, and the food was incredibly delicious. We chose the Cookout Buffet and added chicken tenders and french fries for the kids, which was a massive hit.
❤️ Thank You, DoubleTree Team!
We fully understand why couples usually plan their weddings a year or two in advance. However, with only two weeks' notice, the DoubleTree team created a beautiful wedding day that went way beyond anything I ever expected or imagined.
An enormous thank you to Gretchen, Taylor, Tammy, John, and Justin. Thank you for all of your thoughtful, creative, and hard work to help us create a weekend we will cherish forever!
We will see you next year... weekend of June 27th 2027 for our first year anniversary party!!
Big truck parking was awesome. Beautiful rooms, the shower was amazing high powered and hot as hell. Comfortable beds, very quiet.
Very dark in parking lot. Hard to navigate coming in for first time.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and nicely designed. Shower amenities were wonderful. The cookies...10/10
The hotel was under renovations which was understandable. It was difficult to navigate through various hallways and stairs to find the elevator, but once we figured it out, there was no issue. The fitness area had free weights, an assortment of treadmills, elliptical, and spin bike, but could have used a bench press or chest equipment. Vending was limited. Our phone didnt work, and internet/TV was spotty.
Friendly staff. Easy check in.
Construction, good and bad thing. No free breakfast.
This hotel is slowly transforming itself into a top-rated destination. The area is loaded with shops, restaurants and the meadow lands facility. This hotel is right on the main road, but quiet. We chose this location originally because it is quiet. The rooms have been redone. Best hotel mattress we have had in a long time; new and firm. Clean. Everything was clean. They left the main areas and exterior for last.
Many places do it the other way around, so it's a bit of a let down in the rooms. This is just the opposite. We resided in just a solid, good room at a good price, and even nice hallways. Good job to management and staff.
