Old school charme. Ruhige Lage. Zimmer klimatisiert. Hochwertige Pflegeprodukte. Schöner Innenhof. Gutes Frühstück.
Etwas schwierig, die Rezeption zu finden. Empfang dann eher kühl. Sehr hohe Preise im hoteleigenen Restaurant, Service dabei unaufmerksam. Am schlimmsten fand ich die Dusche in der Wanne, das sollte in so einem Hotel nicht sein.

The staff, no help
The hotel was very comfortable, staff were so kind and accommodating and the room was the perfect size for us. We were kindly upgraded to a suite which was such a lovely treat. The daily chocolates on the bed were such a lovely touch as well! Brussels was our last stop in Europe, and Stanhope was the best place to spend our last few days in Europe.
Perhaps they were busy or having a hard day, but the bar staff were quite grumpy and I didn't have the best interaction with them. Nevertheless, I was still able to get what I needed.
The aesthetic and vibe of this hotel are fantastic. The classic decoration gives it a very elegant, upscale feel, and the common areas are lovely to sit and relax in. The location is perfect, central and well-connected, but in a very quiet neighborhood that allows for a peaceful stay. Above all, the staff were wonderful. Everyone I interacted with was extremely warm, friendly, and eager to help make the stay enjoyable.

The hotel's location is perfect. The neighborhood is very pleasant, safe, and makes it easy to explore many attractions on foot. For destinations farther away, public transportation is extremely convenient.
The room is spacious, very quiet, and comfortable. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is large, and the breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I would especially like to thank Inês at the front desk, who gave us excellent recommendations for transportation and the best routes around the city, and Farid from the breakfast team, whose kindness and genuine hospitality made every morning even more enjoyable throughout our stay.
I would definitely stay there again. It's worth every penny.

the staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable; it is very close to the most prominent shopping street and a metro station; the room was bigger than most I've stayed in recently; the bed was super comfy; the breakfast offers quite a selection

And we did not use it, we bought everything in the supermarket and now they took money from my credit card just for nothing. If they can not manage their job properly why should I pay for that. Very disappointing at this point. Never going back because you can never be 100 procent sure that the hotel won’t be making their own excuses for the money they stole.
