Cons:

Booked two rooms at the property, but the property only honored the reservation for one room. We were forced to purchase an additional room at the property. Tried to contact the property on why the error occurred but they did not respond.

It worked for what we needed, but I probably would not book this property again.
Pros:

It had comfortable beds. The staff were great.

Cons:

This property needs a good cleaning and refresh. It needs updating for today’s tech needs like available pull ins and ports. It shares a parking lot with an “In n Out” and it was loud with cars and customers for several hours of the late evening.

Still Great Despite No Hot Tub!!!!
Pros:

as always I enjoy my stay at the Layton City La Quinta location.. You offer many amenities as well as the location is perfect to entertain my family.

Cons:

I was very disappointed to find out that the hot tub was not operational and had not been operational for over 6 months. that is unacceptable as when I stay at a hotel my number one amenity I book for is hot tub and swimming pool.. We were given the option to go to a sister hotel within the corporation a quarter of a mile down the street but still I believe this is an issue that needs to be addressed or at least taken off of your available amenities..

Pros:

I stay at the LaQuinta Hotel in Layton.
Krista, the front desk person has made my time here feel like home.
She is always professional, conscientious and friendly.
She has been a good friend to me and my dog Daisy.

The staff was nice

Cons:

The hot tub was out of service, there were kids diving into the pool the entire time and our eyes hurt from the chlorine. The pool was disgusting and my little girl left with blisters on 4 of her toes. No supervision at the pool. The breakfast was very mediocre. And the people above us were stomping all night. It was hot at night and overall just a bad experience for my daughters birthday.

Pros:

Love the location right next to an in n out and easy to get to from the highway!

Cons:

Could use lots of updates! The bathroom tub has stains at the bottom of the tub and in the grout between the tiles. The toilet didnt flush at first when we first arrived and we were given a plunger. That didn’t help. But eventually after we left and came back it flushed. The fridge and the AC both made really high pitched sounds. The remote didn’t work for the tv. But the front desk ladies were very nice and the beds were comfortable.
