Location and the newly remodeled rooms
Walls are very thin! It can be loud!
The bathroom was updated and lovely. The breakfast was pretty good.
Our rooms featured views of garbage bags. Parking was tight, as there are ongoing renovations, but the manager worked hard to secure a space for us. There were amenities missing, and a remote from our rooms, and were partially remedied. The main issues were red smears on the walls, which were less than comforting. When reported, the staff attempted to remove them, which made it worse.
The room was updated. The beds were comfortable. Room was quiet.
The price was insane. The check in was a very long line, and some people couldn't get to the rooms right away because the cleaners were behind. There was no parking available in the lot or the garage. Just unorganized chaos. No free breakfast.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is under renovation. The fire alarm went off during check-in time. Our room was not ready to be in service. The maintenance people were very busy with clogged sinks and mini fridge installation in our room. The air conditioner was not working until the end of our stay.

I understand it was under renovation, we had to drain the portable AC unit multiple times throughout the night. And the hotel got pretty noisy, so sleeping was really rough. And the mini fridge wasn’t a mini fridge and I don’t think it was actually working. We had to constantly get ice to keep our stuff cold.
Location, this hotel is in the heart of the marathon activities which is why we chose it plus it had a spa we hoped to use following our activities, however the temp was not so useful.
Hot tub was cool, prolly less than 100, Construction was being done adjacent to our room on a Sunday afternoon while we were trying to rest and recover from the Missoula Marathon.
Breakfast was $16 each so we chose to not participate.

A group of family reserved 3 rooms for University of Montana graduation weekend here. Just today (2 weeks out from graduation) the hotel called and said that they are moving us to a different hotel because they are going to have a renovation happening. Which they didn't know about a month ago when we booked? I don't like the hotel that they are moving us to and that's why I didn't book there in the first place. Of course I can't get the manager on the phone (Annie Darby) but I have expressed my disappointment and frustration to no avail. What a bunch of bull****. So now all of our planning for the large group staying within a 1/2 a block of each other leaves us hoofing it to and from to meet up with everyone else. Totally unacceptable and they couldn't care less. Book at your own risk.
I loved the view from my room. Make sure to ask for a room overlooking the river.
Tiny rooms for the price. Breakfast was not included in the extreme price. Skimpe on bathroom amenities and coffee. Would not recommend.
Small rooms for price. Breakfast not included? What kind of crap is that. Two towels in bathroom with two queens? Lazy.
