Categories

Cleanliness
8
Rooms repeatedly described as clean and tidy, but there are isolated issues (a guest found a hair on fruit at breakfast and some reports of a sewer smell on lower floors). Overall slightly above average cleanliness with occasional lapses.
Service
9.5
Staff repeatedly described as friendly and helpful; check-in/out noted as easy. Some operational confusion around parking and room allocation occurred but was generally resolved by staff, supporting a strong service rating.
Location
10
Consistently praised as very central — within short walking distance to Fiskebrygga, Kunstsilo, Musikhuset and transport links; ideal for ferry arrivals and sightseeing.
Room Quality
8
Rooms described as nice with good bathrooms, seating and Chromecast; showers liked. Some guests reported beds that were too soft (poor sleep) and a lack of view in one room, plus difficulty warming a chilly bathroom.
Amenities
8
Useful amenities noted (ice on the floor, iron/board, Chromecast). Parking is available at the hotel but not always included and requires reservation, which caused complaints — lowers perceived amenity convenience.
Value for Money
7.5
Mixed value perception: generally good location and comfortable rooms, but extra parking fees, unclear communication about parking, and some breakfast/coffee quality complaints reduce perceived value.
Food and Beverage
8
Breakfast is frequently called very good and a highlight, but guests also reported crowding, insufficient seating, limited pastry/sweet options, basic coffee and occasional hygiene issues — overall positive but with notable drawbacks.
Overall Experience
9
Overall stays are positive: central location, friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast lead many guests to say they'd return, despite some operational and food-service issues.
