Awsome Breakfast, great friendly staff from front desk people to the breakfast hosts and the housekeeping personnel were all cheerful, happy and friendly people. housekeeping came everyday and made our bed and refilled items, that was nice! The pool looked great but we were too busy to enjoy it.
The loud noisy neighbors constantly walking the halls talking loud all night and people above us had kids that you could hear them constantly running and jumping around on the floor
Right by pool and the drapes were pushed back so far I didn’t find them at first. The sheers had some broken hooks. Everyone could see inside my room until I found the drapes tucked away.
Light switch was low and hard to find.
TV had a lot of fuzzy channels that were difficult to watch.
I was given a handicap accessible room I did not need. I’m glad you have accessible facilities, but the shower water didn’t drain well and without a tub or step to the shower, the entire bathroom floor was wet and I used all of the towels to dry it up.
As I left I noticed that there was a breakfast I didn’t know about because I was not informed about it at check in, and even if I was told, it was an extra $8 charge.
The pool was great. There was a craft vendor show in the atrium while we were there.
1. The outside doors did not lock and were always open for anyone to enter at entrance B. 2. The hallway carpets were actually filthy and didn't look swept for the 3 days we were there. 3. Rooms are showing their age with unrepaired cracks in the walls, missing caulk around the sink. 4. Worst of all was the surround wall in the shower. Caulk was missing at the corner joints allowing water to get behind the wall, The large side panel was actually pulling away from the wall behind. Black gunk was seeping out the bottom. Gross. I did speak to the person at the front desk concerning the shower and she noted that. 5. Ice machine needed repairs so had to go to the other end of the facility to get ice. This place is certainly showing it's age
It was fine
It is dated. Our room was quite dirty and dusty. Crusted dust on light fixtures. Dust on walls and behind the night stand. Walls were filthy. We were right by pool so it was loud. And band playing until late we could hear.
I think the breakfast could have been better. Only 1 choose of oatmeal (cinnamon spice) tiny sausage with tiny pancakes bites. The woman working the breakfast wasn't in uniform, i thought she was staying there because she was very rude to us. I guess for $8.00 each it was ok.
The breakfast bar was just awful. Even though it was $8.00 my kids and I left hungry. The only staff member I didn't care for was the breakfast attendant.
The pool and the pool area
It is old and needs a refresh
Feels like a resort in the pool area with the pool and plants.
No complaints. I was happy.
Location
Hotel is run-down and dirty. Parking lot is in bad shape. We waited at the front desk to check-in for several minutes before someone appeared. Only saw one person working during the entire time we stayed from check-in to check-out. The front desk person we talked to was friendly and courteous. Room was horrible, carpet old, ripped and disgusting. No windows/claustrophobic, AC unit was incredibly loud all night. Bathroom was tiny; we are not large people but some individuals who may be larger would have difficulty maneuvering in and out. You could not open/close br door when the bath mat was down; that's how tiny it was. Bathroom door had old peeling paint that tried to be painted over and was filthy. Pool area/indoor "courtyard" was nice. Quick stay for our visit to IUP; we will never choose this hotel again.
Love staying here. Staff always engaged
Carpeting/ flooring around stairs going up to 2nd floor dated and in need of repair, to left of main lobby
Hotel staff are very kind. Hotel definitely needs renovations. Rooms are clean but again, need updating. It’s a shame because I’m sure it was a beautiful hotel at one time. With all the new jobs and industries coming to the area, I can’t believe Wyndham is not spending the money to update this hotel.
Overall it was a nice 2 night stay. The pool area is great especially if your traveling with kids. The bar restaurant next door is also nice to have close by. Breakfast in the morning is okay. Hot and cold foods. Bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure and hot water. Room was a little dated but clean. I take reviews serious since i read them before booking. Would give it an overall 8 out of 10 and would stay again.
We have stayed here a couple of times and have been very happy. The place is very clean. The staff has always greeted us with a smile. One of your staff went above and beyond. We had a slight issue with our room and JILL did not hesitate to fix the issue. It is employees like Jill that make me want to continue to come back. Thank You Jill they are lucky to have you!!!!!
Jill was nice to help with approving refund.
AC not working in main areas of hotel, toilet flooded bathroom in first room & no working phone, moved rooms and AC broken & lightbulbs missing, outside doors propped open throughout the night - no security, third room moved to had moldy shower and found bed bug (housekeeping confirmed bed bug)
