BEWAWARE DO NOT STAY!!!!!!!!

It was the most horrible hotel stay I have ever had. It started at the check in, we arrived at the hotel early at noon as I indicated on the reservation that i would arrive. Well the man at the front desk would not even take my name or reservation and told me check in time if 3pm to only come back then! What you cant even look or check me in until my room is ready? Well that was part 1. They said there are no rooms because they were full and need to clean. Well they did not clean our room because when we got in. We saw bugs. And in both beds there was makeup stains, black stains, hair clumps under the sheets. We could not get a refund on booking.com so had to stay. I dont have enough words but then the pool, there was no clean towels and 15 kids unattended splashing and fighting in the pool. I reported it to the front desk but they did nothing but look and leave. Needless to say we could not sleep and it was horrible. I told the front desk about the room condition and pool and they did nothing. Will never stay here again, we were so grossed out and felt so unsafe and we did not want to stay and just drive home.

Disappointed with the double beds that were too soft and uncomfortable to sleep in

The “queen” beds are double beds. The beds were way too soft. The water pressure in the shower was low. The free wifi was unusable. The room had no water or toothbrushes.

The beds are a good height for wheelchair users to transfer to and from.

Cons:

Wheel chair accessible roll in shower could use a little more room. Wheelchair accessible rooms could have a Hoyer for transfer to make life easier.

Pros:

Good location for exploring Philadelphia and its surroundings.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike other than the corridors being quite noisy in the early hours with other guests... not a deal breaker though, just annoying.

Our check in process was absurd.

When we called to check in, the person we spoke to on the phone told us to hold for a moment and then forwarded our call to a "rewards" group that was adamant about trying to get our credit card number over the phone. It seemed like a scam, and the man we spoke to was incredibly pushy. Because of this, we won't stay at another Holiday Inn. We didn't ask for that and to be quite frank, it was ridiculous and inappropriate.
