I had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown while visiting Milwaukee for a Mary Kay Career Conference, and it truly exceeded my expectations.

First of all, the beds were absolute heaven — after long days of conference activities, I slept incredibly well and woke up refreshed each morning. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for enjoying downtown Milwaukee.

What really made my stay exceptional, though, was the outstanding service.

At check-in, Mari Smith greeted me with such warmth and professionalism and a WARM COOKIE. She made the arrival process smooth, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant — the perfect start to my stay. She also took Take care of my checkout.

I also want to give special recognition to Cathy at The Avenue Restaurant. She was absolutely fantastic! Her attentive service, friendly personality, and attention to detail made lunch there a highlight of my visit.

Traveling for conferences can be busy and exhausting, but thanks to the wonderful team here, my stay felt relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish.

If you’re visiting Milwaukee — whether for business, a conference, or just exploring the city — I highly recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown. Exceptional staff, amazing beds, and a great downtown location made this a memorable stay!

Comfort and clean

My son and I stayed here when touring Marquette University. The location is great and you can easily walk to campus. Valet parking was very easy and smooth and the parking attendant was super nice. The front desk reception was maybe the most friendly and enthusiastic that I've ever come across. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Many restaurants within walking distance. The room was a tad on the small side but still comfortable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the heating in the room is really hard to work. They have instructions posted by it, but even with that I noticed that you can't run the fan without the room heating up. So no "fan only" setting. I had the room set to 65F and tried to run just the fan and the next thing I know the room was 72 degrees F. I ended up just shutting the entire system off. Otherwise, we love this hotel and would definitely return! Oh and as a HH gold member, the hotel gave me a free drink from the bar in addition to my regular benefits!

If Daniel is at the counter I can promise you are in good hands!! Nicest guy ever always happy to help and just a solid part of the team. Can’t wait to come back.

It was really easy to locate the hotel and everything was available nearby.
The location was scenic and was exactly what we wanted.
The hotel is located in a centralized location and very close to the metro station.
We didn't had to take any conveyance from the metro station as it was visible from there.
It was really lively.
The overall atmosphere of the entire hotel was very peaceful.
The room was soundproof and we didn't hear any voices from the room next to us.
It solved the purpose
If you are looking for a peaceful stay and with all the amenities, this is the place for you.
Not really but every amenity offered by the hotel, solved our purpose.
The entire property was sparkling clean and we really enjoyed everything offered by the hotel.
