At £800 for 3 nights, this was not my idea of value for money.
Pros:

The hotel was in a good location and offered great views into Charleston, especially from the bar/restaurant on the top floor. Having parked the car, we left it for the duration of our stay, using the hourly shuttle bus that the hotel laid on free of charge.

Cons:

The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. It looks dated and tired, both inside and out. We had paid the extra for breakfast. The hot food option was poor, although there were plenty of other choices.

Bed was comfy.
Pros:

The room was clean & the staff friendly. The hotel is older but not in a charming way. It’s away from old town so cheaper than there but still not “cheap”.

Cons:

Need a rental car to get around or taxis if you don’t drive here which makes it pricier to stay.

Convienient because our son was in icu at musc and we appreciated the shuttle and the kindness of most of the staff

A good location and comfy bed. Staff needs to work on cleanliness.

The location was great and very convenient to everything downtown with a short drive or shuttle service. The beds were also comfy

Cons:

My family all stayed here for a wedding in multiple rooms. Our room had hair in the corners and bathtub. My parents room sink wasn’t working. Another family member had to ask for a refund because they were traveling with kids and their floors were filthy the kids feet were black.

Pros:

The location with the shuttle is great. It is a little challenging to get out onto the main road due to visibility but all in all a great place. The restaurant and bar have excellent views. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Cons:

This is an older holiday inn. It has been updated but it's still an older building. Not sure why the light switch for the bathroom is on the outside of the room, behind the bathroom door...and bathroom door and entry door bump each other if opened at the same time.

Pros:

The free shuttle to downtown Charleston was a great perk. Having the breakfast included with our stay was also a nice benefit. What we most liked about our room was the very comfortable bed got some good night sleep

Cons:

Our bathroom could’ve used some maintenance but other than that her stay was great

The staff alone would make me stay there again.
Pros:

The staff is awesome!! Very nice and polite. The shuttle drivers were also great!! I stayed there because of the shuttle to MUSC.

Cons:

Better lighting at the sink would be nice.

Also, running the air conditioning made everything feel damp.
