It was located convenient to the hospital (we were in town visiting a patient).
The room was very rundown. Paint was peeling, paint splatters on the bench, flooring coming up in spots. The air conditioner was so loud!! On top of the AC unit itself being loud, a piece was broken, so there was a continuous rattle anytime it was on.
We were not given enough towels. There was no clock on the nightstand.
The room was not clean when we arrived. The toilet had hair on it, and the bathtub was also full of hair. We informed the front desk, and they said someone would come to clean it, but nobody ever came. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service.

The bed was AMAZING!! The softest hotel bed we have ever slept in! We didn't have the breakfast at the restaurant. We did have dinner the night before. The food was delicious 😋
Our server was an absolute dream!! Honestly, I don't think we got her name...lol
The restaurant only provided one cut of steak. The only other option for an entree was a burger. The only issues we had with the room were the bathroom and the outer room (sink) are rather small. The door to the outer room and the bathroom are very close. You would definitely hit someone if they were on the other side...lol. The lighting in the the room connecting the bathroom wasn't very bright.
An affordable hotel with the best location, Shuttle service to make up for not being downtown and large clean rooms. It was a perfect hotel for us to enjoy Charleston without paying premium prices.

The room was clean and it was within a 30 minute drive to the beach and restaurants
Trying to get out of the parking lot was difficult and I had a customer service issue that no one called me back about and I ended up having to call the line five times
Loved the location and the shuttle to the downtown area. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, they even had a list of local recommendations. The room and bathroom were adequate.
The whole property is in a slight state of disrepair, from the parking lots to the elevators and lobby.

The view from the restaurant of the river is simply breathtaking.

Alvaro was very welcoming at breakfast and the food was good at a decent price.
What an experience, the Manager was kind and greated us at the door, staff were attentive. The manager was even able to speak to us in 3 Languages. We are from Canada so French was a surprise and FANTASTIC. ALVERO rocks !!!!
