Brought back nice memories. We spent our wedding night in this hotel 52 years ago!
Pros:

Room View Front desk staff very nice. Restaurant staff exceedingly nice, friendly and competent. Excellent service. Good food!

Well never return.
Cons:

The thermostat in the room didn't work. It was 62° in the room, a service man came up to fix it and then it went up to 77°. It was very uncomfortable to say the least. There were also stains on the bed linens and the sheets smelled like sex.

Cons:

Room 814 the shower rod was loose and leaning down badly. The shower faucet handle was almost off....made it really hard to operate. No microwave to warm up stuff.

Old hotel put clean and great people (staff)
Pros:

The staff was phenomenal, especially on the top floor of the hotel in the restaurant lounge. They were absolutely awesome people to be around.

Cons:

Even though our hotel room overlooked the waffle house instead of the ocean Bay, it was still a great place. We ended up having fun with our view of the Waffle House from the eighth floor. Of course we would’ve loved the ocean front room but the wheelchair friendly room doesn’t have that view. truly not the end of the world.

Looks are deceiving
Pros:

The staff is amazing. The only negative I saw was it’s a nonsmoking property but as soon as we got off the elevator on floor 6, it was instant weed and it stayed that away for half of our trip. That’s on the customer and not the hotel but it sucked
