Not bad; Room (no pun intended) for improvement.
Pros:

I could wish the hotel offered free coffee at least, because the Starbucks is too strong and too expensive. They need new mattressess, and a few new air conditioners apparently (mine was literally 'screaming' when it kicked on). Cleaning could be improved.. there was leftover food in the fridge when I arrived. The shining star of the place was the staff; Extremely friendly, professional, helpful, and caring; I was particularly pleased with the front desk clerk who was kind enough to change my room without issue when I mentioned the screaming AC unit. I wish I got his name. But, then, all of the staff were exemplary.

Cons:

The mattresses were not comfortable. (In the 2 rooms I wound up in for my 3 day stay)

I went to a concert in the neighborhood and just needed a place to sleep. The hotel was okay, but...
Pros:

Very convenient location for my destination of seeing a concert in nearby theater. It was a simple five minute walk. Going in I was warned aboit the neighborhood, but I felt safe as i walked after the evening concert. The bed was very comfortable. Check in clerk was very helpful giving me local directions and advice.

Cons:

The elevator, though it ran fine, showed sign of wear in many flaws on the wall panels
The bathroom was not good. The facilities feel cheap and the toilet was too low, plus the cheap feeling seat was loose and wobbly.
I could not get the in-room coffee maker to work
I was not happy with TV channel availability.
I was surprised and annoyed that parking was not included. While it did say that when I reserved, I had not noticed as everywhere else I have stayed in the last several years has included parking.

A decent place to lay your head and shower nothing more than that

Perfect place for a short stay
Pros:

Clean, nice decor, very courteous and helpful staff

It was comfortable and clean, but expected more from a Marriott
Pros:

The bar and restaurant were very good. Starbucks was very overpriced. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The property advertised an indoor pool and hot tub which it did not have. The ice machine on three floor floors were broken. The refrigerators were extremely tiny .Parking should be included in your hotel fee.

Great Location off I95
Pros:

Location was great for one night stay on a trip. Hotel had all of the amenities you expect from a Marriott Hotel. Comfortable bed and great shower.

Cons:

Waterbury is a depressed town with half of the stores closed in the downtown neighborhood.

Pros:

The hotel was clean and welcoming. Staff were pleasant. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee and cookies in the lobby.

Cons:

The noise from the road traffic was a bit loud.
